Damn, that sucks. Ya electric issues are a pain in the ass, took 7 people to figure out what was wrong with my boat, was simple wiring. Cost me like 1400$ to find out it was a simple wire that shorted out and fried another

Hey happy All Hallowās Day!
Had a pretty heavy run in with my depression the last couple of weeks, culminating with an absolutely brutal day on Saturday, but Iāve been eating right, ditching all the alcohol (I have maybe 2-3 drinks a month, but last week was more like 3-5 a night because it takes me a few days to realize when Iām depressed), and got a few good nights sleep.
Feeling like Iām at about 80% now, and Iām gonna probably go back to therapy next week.
Take care of yourselves my friends. I really felt, on Saturday, that it might be easier not to existā¦ itās different than wanting to hurt myself, but itās adjacent for sure.
Glad to have this community of folks and a tent full of plants.

That would make me so frustrated for the bill but if it fixed the problem and got you back on the water, It would be hard not to smile. Sometimes its worth sending it out to get it fixed. Hole in the pocket be damned.
I do 99% of all the work on my vehicles. That 1% is electrical work. I left my key on and the battery drained, Thought a simple jump would be all it needed but the security system was triggered and desynced the keys. Even the spares donāt get it to start. The first shop only charged me 50$ for the little work they could do. I know the real bill in on the horizon.
I have the professional software but my ECU might be fried. It wouldnt connect to the software to re pair the keys that De-synced. Good ol e36s. I have 246k on it and want to get to 300k before taking her apart to some rust repair. The northeast is feasting on her. (damn salt solutions)

Happy your still hear with us brotha, Its a slippery slope with alcohol when itās paired with depression. A vicious circle.
Iām glad to hear you broke that circle and on a new path. Keep your head up and possibly try something out of your routine to alleviate the mundane feeling of everyday life.

Hey brother, Iām very glad to hear youāre still with us and deciding to get some help. Iām in and out of therapy at times when I need it and it doesnāt mean anything is wrong with you, but everyone can use some good advice and possible redirection at timesā¦@HeadyBearAdventures
I know the feeling youāre talking about and I battle it at times myself between addiction and depression things are tough at times, but Iām still here after multiple near death experiences for a reason, I donāt yet know it, but Iāll figure it out one day Iām sure.
The universe has plans for all of us, not sure if you believe in god or a higher power or anything, hell Iām not even fully sure what I believe myself at times, but I know something has my back or Iād be gone from the risks Iāve taken in my lifeā¦
Youāre a great contributor on here and always have been positive and encouraging to folks, donāt forget how many people who genuinely care about you as a brother on here when things get hard. You got this my friend!

@HeadyBearAdventures i know what you speak of ALL TOO WELL bro, and it breaks my heart just reading that . For real, depression is a nightmare and it often seems like just when it feels youāve overcome it, it creeps back in slowly then just slaps you in the face, this time of year is especially hard for most, (now until after new years is a rough time for SO MANY) please PLEASE, feel free to reach out LITERALLY anytime. Iāll give you my cell number as well. Iād be glad to chat, give advice and just listen and let you spill your guts, Iāve been super low more times than I can count, and the anxiety Iāve acquired only makes it 10x worse! Itās so hard to find your way out but know that Iām here, (by no means am I just talking here either I mean this wholeheartedly) thereās a ton of people here, great people and many that would surely help if needed. Glad you are on the come-up and Iām hoping it stays like that indefinitely. Much love homie

I have a high mileage e39, so I feel your pain. Did you look for any solutions online? Those damn anti theft systems can be a real pain. What year is your e36?

I have 1996 Boston Green e36. Nothing crazy done to it. Just refreshed just about everything but the transmission, transmission lines cooler lines, headgasket and internals of the motor.
