Morning folks! Its snowing again and I don’t like it. Nope!

It’s definitely at that monotonous point now for sure! I agree, if I’m not tobogganing or fishing or it’s not Christmas Day I’ve no use for this cold white crap

Stupid thing just wouldn’t start, sat out there for hours (I’m not the most mechanically inclined ) nothing, called CAA, tried battery, tried lines blah blah nothing…… towed it to the shop, I was expecting some stupid thing and like 1500$ guy says 250$ all in its was a pressure sensor I think? Should have it back before close today :crossed_fingers:t3:

CAA guy fell and almost dropped the battery on his junk too! I never cringed so hard in my life. I gave him two joints when he left.

For sure! Damn near smash the boys with a battery seems no good at all. Theres nothing to say either if it happens besides maybe you need a drink?

Morning everybody. Back at the ocean front and I got my screw gun with me today.

I’m glad your car troubles are cheap @TopShelfTrees1. I just recently put new tires on my car and shit was over $1100. I even pulled up to get an oil change on the way out to Florida. They were like that’ll be $147. WTF

Holy sheep shit 147$ that’s nuts! Glad my son does ours. I just bought the wife winters this year as she commutes now…. Think those were like 800$ I know the feels! You gonna finish up today there?

Good morning everyone. Coffee and snow here also :disappointed:

Oh yeah this is a little in and out banger for a repeat client. There are 3 little drywall patches about half the size of a playing card to run wire. Then repaint the wall. Im having a hard time trying to figure out what I want to charge this guy. Any random customer Id be at $1000 just because it’s a weird and awkward position to work in, it’s a two story wall around a second floor landing and stairwell. I like this guy so I’m thinking somewhere around 400.

Yeah I generally do my own oil, too. Even at full synthetic I’m at like $70 maybe.

That’s generous of you, see we are similar for sure. I always gave discounts to cool people, or if they bring me lunch, and especially if they just leave me alone…. Always bonus points for leaving me to work

Haha. Definitely please just leave me alone so I can get done!

I did a job for a customer like 16 or 17 years ago that was toooo cool. Every day was a pizza party and they opened their pool up with an invitation to hop in when ever. Work was getting completed at a snails pace.

I had a guy out to put up a heavy medicine cabinet. A couple other small projects. Couple trips to the hardware store. Back the next day to redo something he didn’t like, that I didn’t care about. About 4.5 hrs total. Clay’s my buddy, but I expect no favors. Subtract a half hour chatting. “How much Clay” “I don’t know. I never do. i was hoping you would decide. How about $150?” “I can’t get someone to call back. You call back AND show up. Before you said you were going to.” That has value to me. I gave him $200. He gave me $25 back. I will also call him back. I give Clay seeds for his Dad. Clay’s skeptical cuz I didn’t pay a ton for them so didn’t give them to his dad. I’ll correct that this year and give his dad plants in 1or 2 gallon pots. If he’s growing this year.

I’d drive you guys nuts😂. If it’s something I don’t know how to do I’m watching maybe even asking questions!

I’m probably the most annoying customer there is then. But I parlayed that into doing all but the most complicated work myself.

It’s funny how some think if u don’t pay 150-200$ a pack they are crap! There’s free beans floating around here worth hundreds per bean.
I always liked customers like you, appreciative not trying to swindle every cent off they can, gratitude is always appreciated

I have run into the seed thing. I’d give people seeds and watch them be polite taking them. Those same people came back really fast once they bought a couple packs

Absolutely. Growing out the freebies from Copa were some of the best plants I’ve ever grow. Bobs bubbas are also up there neck and neck with those copas. I haven’t had the pleasure of ordering any beans from drag boat but I have also heard his freebies are super dope too.

@crownpoodle you’re a good dude. There are plenty of people out there that would happily let me do the job for free if they could. I swear some of these scumbags are out here plotting on a way not to pay while I’m doing the estimate. It doesn’t matter to them what the estimate is because they aren’t paying up.
