TopShelfs trees (Part 4)

I must admit I never have , the description sounds hilarious though I actually pictured it perfectly half-man half cartoon! lol I know spearing and bow hunting fish has become quite a thing again, but I can also see why it might freak people out by looks. But the natives have been doing it forever, people are just too nosy anymore. Sticking their face in everything

I canā€™t understand why people have to complain about something that doesnā€™t effect them at all. Iā€™m sure if I followed them long enough I could find something to complain about!

They all get the same polite version of ā€œfuck off call a cop.ā€

I did not know this, Iā€™ve wanted to get Charlii certified for 5 years now actually, very interesting. And I totally agree about them needing to truly run and be free.

Sheā€™d probably turn her nose up in disgust and never know what sheā€™s missing.

@thainer what are the laws on that exactly? Not gonna lie Iā€™m unsure. But I know guys do it here at several places for carp and big old catfish

Reminds me of when I was a kid. Hit the bay at a real low tide. The leapord sharks hunted on the flats in 6-12" of water. Weā€™d hit them with a gaf and straight into the canoe! Chaos ensued!

In the states it also gets you around no pets in rental properties. They canā€™t legally say no to the dog

No shit! That was a big problem when we were FORCED to move, great to know. Iā€™m gonna look into this much more now, thanks bro

Off leash dogs are why I canā€™t take Celia to the parkā€¦

Yes your doggo is just being a doggo but my doggo is seriously traumatized and even though thereā€™s a big tag on her collar that reads: ā€œANXIOUSā€ from a distance with the matching leash no one seems to care. :man_shrugging:

not going to lie i have never looked into the law. i do not usually worry about a limit as you are never going to do that its kind of like fishing brookies sneak up on them but you are in the water with them trying not get a dunking of ice water over the top have you ever done the Lake Erie smelt netting come May or so not many smelt left anymore its a right spot right time thing now. was done in the dark by the way smelting parties would run for a week or so every year

Oh ya Iā€™d imagine itā€™s not easy, like are wicked wary too, with those big eyes on top and being an ambush predator. I bet itā€™s a blast tbh, I love brookie fishing sadly I have to drive hours to find any anymore as the two places we did for 20 years are not so healthy anymore and the brookies are very rare. So I only go to try and clean up, clear blockages etc. and just see how itā€™s doing, I hope it comes back though , never seen another soul fish either tbch, not once.

Honestly I didnā€™t even ever think about that. But I should cuz Iā€™ve got horrible anxiety as you all know. Now I donā€™t even know what to sayā€¦. Damn

We used to get the cops called on us by the yuppies for duck hunting. The game warden was a friend and Marine so weā€™d laugh about it after he educated them.

Iā€™ve hunted and eaten rodents with such people in my childhood ā€¦
You can hire an world class chef and prepare me the tastiest wagyu steak and i would still choose the Common Myna if offered, they used to drown in our watering well often that combined with my grandmaā€™s cooking

Iā€™d have to be mighty hungry to eat opossum or a racoon.
Of course we donā€™t have such vermin here.
No snakes, ticks, fleas, or poisonous spiders to contend with.
Just bears that will eat you and mosquitoes and biting flies to drive you insane.
