@Indicana_Jones its pork butt sliced into steaks, if you never tried it. It’s would find a nice butcher shop and get them to slice the butt onto 3/4 to 1 inch thick cut steaks cook to about 135f pull let sit for a couple min then go to town!

The last time Kroger put pork butts on sale at 99¢ an lb, me and my cousin went ape shit. I’ve never heard of slicing the butt into steaks. I’m on that.

Good morning everyone hope yall are having a great day so far! Man it’s funny you say that because we had pork steaks last night. I love getting the tenderloin and slow roasting it on my grill 200 or less just adding in some wood chips here and there to keep it smoking. Usually go about 3 hrs on the grill and turns out delicious

They definitely work BETTER if you soak them for 10 minutes but I always forget so you got to add them a handful every 30 minutes or so because they burn up quick but smoke like crazy
I love them tho. The cherry wood chips and brats oh man. Cherry wood chips and any pork is just amazing. It gives the meat a red tinge and nice flavor

Usually my go to is mesquite wood chips but if your doing pork cherry is the way to go! I’ve tried pecan woodchips before and apple I think it’s an acquired taste like people eating apple sausages
