TopShelfs trees (Part 4)

Whoa. That thing is …. Huge!

Ordinarily my inclination would be “shitty old coffee repurposed with clever marketing” but it’s really very good.

Often you taste coffee and go “yes that’s coffee” but these ones definitely have different varietal characteristics. I should have taken notes on which ones I liked best.

I assume Spring Box busy!

lol. I feel this but they are all film projectors including the one I have for 3D 16mm

Damn I was gonna ask you.

This has been something I fell in love with years ago and rarely buy it as it’s sooooo much $$$.

Yeah for real. Normally we just drink the shit from the can but a little variety is nice. Best I can tell you is the only real loser was El Salvador. Not bad, just not noteworthy. And Guatemala and Kenya were good too.

Definitely never heard of that one! But I’ll certainly try it given the chance. My wife and I are a bit of coffee snobs. Or that’s what people tell us anyway

If you haven’t yet you must visit a coffee plantation. It’ll blow your coffee sensibilities out of the water.

I’d love too so much!

I feel you on price too. We drink so much it’s gotta be somewhat reasonable. The three sisters is around 14-16$ a bag of beans, lasts about a week to ten days. It really isn’t too bad for such great coffee, not like kopi luwak or something anyway. And it’s poo beans :poop: 🫘

If you’re a DIY enthusiast you can make your own poo beans.

But seriously, coffee snobbery aside, fresh roasted on the side of the mountain near the equator, best cup of coffee, bar none.

They wouldn’t tell me what fertilizer they use.

Do you drink coffee at all bro?

That just sounds epic! Where? I’ve heard Jamaica has stellar coffee out there, obviously Columbia too

I’m talking specifically about Panama. Like up in the mountains where the sun is strong enough to burn you in 5 minutes.

Columbia gets shit on because apparently they machine harvest which means all beans whether ripe or not end up in the basket. Hand picked is the move.

The coffee I had in Jamaica was ok but nothing special but I didn’t go to a plantation or anything.

Well we will have to change that this year :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I’ll be force drinking you as I know you’ll love it and the feeling too, then you can replace one addiction with a slightly healthier one :man_facepalming:t2:
