So I do not intend to add anything to the discussion, more just posting to add further fodder.
I have two TK plants going outdoors. One most certainly stinks like a dirty diaper the other has an earthy smell. I have changed enough diapers to know the smell and it is exact. Crazy…
I also took lots of pictures and looked long and hard at leaf count. There are a few seven point leaves but they are not common. Seems like new growth is trying to add two more points as you will see in the pictures but not over the top. Fan
leaves are three to five points and they are small unlike my other strains. Is TK known for smaller leaves in general?
Talkin TK S1’s? If not, where are they from exactly? Dirty diaper is not a scent of the cut I have. All the leaves on both those plants look off compared to this cut. The thinner bladed one kinda reminds me of rarebuyer’s version, allegedly direct from TKOrigins but it’s not as good nor the same plant, as the one I’ve had. Rarebuyers cut is more just like a good OG, more body to the high, more stone, and quicker (63-70) finishing. Whereas the TK I’ve had from FarmerJoe is hands down superior, hits harder, way more cerebral/less body more functional, more flavors and smells and runs at least a week longer in flower(77-84).
If that is the case I am going to be po’d as I bought these as my highlight in the garden. Again once I hear back from Seed Supreme (assuming I do) I will post their response.
What specifically should I be seeing? I am new to this and have never grown/smoked TK.
Tk is a clone only plant. So any seeds of it are going to be S1s or hybrids. Ive never heard of seed supreme so i cant comment to their reputation for providing honest genetics. Is that a seedbank or breeder? If they were labelled as TK and are regular seeds they either hybrids or just flat out not as advertised.
Please forgive me @BuckBreeder but yes I have read the whole thing. My understanding is that this is not available in regular seed and is a clone only or S1 or other variant. I also understand that it is notoriously difficult to reverse. I am including a link to seed supreme. https://seedsupreme.com/triangle-kush-feminized.html
This is only the second time growing so I am definitely a newbie so I can’t bring much to the table. I do know the guy I buy my stuff from over the years runs LOTS of high-end genetics and when I ask him the what he has the answer Is always good weed followed by the strain so I guess in the end I hope it falls into the good weed category and I have learned a few things.
Just the other day I encountered a person showing me pictures of their various OG kush plants from a similarly unethical seedbank. Looked at me like I’m out of my mind when I said that while they may end up really good, they are not actually “OG kush”. Basically trying to communicate that any information you gain by reading about OG kush online is unlikely to translate to his plants. The look of disbelief and bewilderment really left me not caring at all and will just keep my mouth shut in the future haha…
My guess is those TK beans are just random feminized bulk white label seeds without any actualy TK in them. S1s at that price seems unlikely and they’ve already proven themselves dishonest with the label / marketing.
Goodnews is i purchased lots of TK hybrids from @DougDawson auction so hopefully I can find something in the future.
Really want the unadulterated cut to try. Looks like Swampboys are the ticket.
Nahhh man, people will tell you where to get the cut. FarmerJoe, GMO, and so on. Cornbread Ricky or Krome selling the cut publicly these days or something?
I have to say nothing tastes and smells better than the triangle kush clone only. The high is so good also. I know Caleb agrees as well. I’m down to some smalls and it’s still the first jar I reach for. I’ve got cuttings I’m trying to root so hopefully I have more in 10-12 weeks
