I also wonder what cut of TK he used. Rarebuyer’s/TK Origin’s, or Xochi’s/Cornbread Ricky’s.
Someone said in a different thread they liked the TK but it made them sleepy/tired after a good long cure, and that sounds 100% like rarebuyer’s “TK” and not at all like Xochi’s which is the one I prefer and I think is the real deal. Rarebuyers’/TK Origins’ is not as good all around and definitely has a lazy/tired/sleepy aspect to it on the backend.

I’ve been smoking some Jet Fuel Gelato x Triangle Kush #23 from a Colorado med dispensary— it’s been an instant favorite. One day it’ll be a joy to fill a tent with some TK.

nspecta’s backcrosses (5150, 677) seem like a safer path and are probably cheaper too when you factor in the freebies. Everything I’m seeing in my CSI test look more like TK than any of the females in my Black Triangle pack. Those (BT) all produced heavy night time smoke.

Yeah i’d agree with that just based off what I’ve seen from pics alone. As-is, I think she breeds pretty wide in an outcross. Can still usually find one plant in a pack that looks pretty close, but not exactly what i’d call dominant. She tends to get run-over IME.
Also, most of the non-csi crosses/backcrosses I’ve seen with her, have all been selecting for higher yield and, in my opinion, a heavier high that she does not possess.

Popping some new packs in a few weeks. I want to run one of these. Leaning towards TK mom, but wondering if anyone else has grown anything CSI crossed with the TK reversed… Which one should I pick?

I got 5150 triangle x chem91 and he included chem91 x triangle. Growing out the 5150x chem91 now would have done both but im limited on space at the moment

I think ive heard Caleb from csi talk about how it can show what traits get passed by the mother vs the father.
TBH those crosses got me wondering how potency and mold resistance fair with bubblegum as the mother vs the father. I was actually thinking of doing a few different bubblegum crosses myself to try and find something that works good for outdoor in my area.

The exact reason I copped the cross. I’m a hybrid vigor dude - Terps/potency of TK with structure/vigor/speed of the bubblegum would be the ideal selection.

TK day 63 fading hard in a 30 gallon tote of recycled soil on its 4th run. Amended lightly with top dresses, microbes bi weekly. Fed with water calmag only for the most part. Molasses and every now and then. Bloom booster here and there.
No amber yet, more then likely gonna pull her at 70 this round.
