There are so many, but just a few
OG Cheese clone from AMS, brought it back with me in 05, still no 1 weed I ever smoked, got 800 a oz from it consistently
SR71 Purple Kush clone from AMS, this clone was brought here by a big medical grower in 2006-07, he paid a lot of money for it but was able to acquire it
Super rank dank stuff, no grape, no berry, just super kush burn your nose kinda stuff,I used to call it Zombie Kush cuz you turn into one when smoking it haha
Super Lemon Haze, Oh man… Cocaine in weed form.
I haven’t been able to smoke anything remotely similar or on the same levels as those cuts for a long long time…
From my experience, people used to ask 250K for a cash crop clone aka elite, that is if you even got access to this kind of offer in the first place

Your right, to be in a position to even get a chance to buy one of those…
You had to be well connected.
But 20 years ago if you had balls you could get things done some other ways sometimes
I bought a lot of clones here in my country, not one of them was worth anything.
Uk cheese, sr71 purple Kush, Francos cut of SLH… those things are pretty attainable these days.

Those 10-20 dollar clones are comparable to rawdogging a streetwalker, your most likely bringing home a disease or pests. The 100 dollar clones of TK for instance are most likely S1s or knockoffs, the real deal TK is tightly held and not really passed around to the masses. Some of the TK S1s may look better than the original but it dont hit as hard. Now true elites and the “New New” stuff are going from 500-5000 out in LA. Only cut i could think of that id pay 5k or up for is P91 and its long gone. But seen plenty of people pay 10k for cuts in the past, which may seem ridiculous to some but they pay off for themselves within a year if not sooner. Look at doja/seed junky, i think it was the rs11 or permanent marker that was going for 1k a cut and they sold around 1000 of them, only because they found a better pheno, want to say it was the “rs54”. Everythings so watered down these days, someone will pop a 10 pk of a said strain, find a keeper or best pheno out of that pk and release clones of it as a “breeders cut” and people will roll with it.

The OG cuts like my brother OG619 said are tightly held, everything else is S1 or fake, simple as that.
The Forum cost ABJA 10K, and by all means the Forum is no where near Cheese, PK or any other legendary cut although a solid cultivar.
I heard all the stories, even those you find crazy haha but yes in those days when a oz cost a g note almost, the cut behind it was worth big big bucks, but no one gave it even when you offered, it’s just too good to give away.
And thats why you can’t find em now.

Super lemon haze was a seed line first. How could there be an original cut ? The Uk cheese story is a mess. Even some of the folks you may hold in high regard, may not even have the real cheese cut. There were multiples.
What I disagree with og619 saying is this. If the “real cuts” are being sold for 500+, why do folks think people aren’t buying those and reselling for cheaper ? I have rs -11. 1000% the real one. $100

Everything started from seed my friend, but the elite plant we are referring to is one and only from that seed line which got that title.
I don’t hold anyone in no high regard, I know what I’ve been doing in the last 25 years of smoking, and what I’ve been buying.
I don’t really care who has what, I know for certain most of them don’t hold the OG cuts let alone “new” elites, new keepers, maybe.
OG619 didn’t say the OG cuts are sold for 500+, he said most of what sold in Cali right now is 500-5000$ clones, original ? No.

Like I said the forum was acquired and passed on for free so it’s not really a good example
But even that cut was sold for 10K, and you had to be very very well connected in the first place to get it.

The difference is that the Rs11 was released a few years ago, sure you can get it for 100 bucks now, its nothing special in 2024. And the 40 dollar GSC wasn’t going for 40 bucks back in 2012, back then you had to know somebody or you were paying for it, and most of the people rocking GSC werent rocking the forum cut, there were soo many knockoffs, but one mans trash is anothers treasure.

That’s cool, to each their own, but those 40$ are a far far cry from the clones of old.
Right, I agree that it was different back then. Way different. My only point was it’s a different world now. Those things from back then don’t carry the same value these days.
