Trim Jail! How longs was/is your sentence?

FINALLY!
Out of 'Trim Jail!"
Was sentenced to 8 days 5-7 hours a day…
Now entering my 2nd sentence-- the 1st harvested is ready to Jar, and needs ‘touch up’ trimming… At least Draig is taking up most of THAT job! (hate dry trimming!)
THEN we’ll move on to making Ice-Water Hash!
We had 7 small plants and 2 big ones…
Can’t wait till it is all over!

How about Y’all??
How’s Harvesting going for ya?

(* edit* No-- this isn’t Draig-- It’s our kid… wouldn’t stand closer to the plants because they kept sticking to his shirt when the wind blew!)

Those are some massive plants. Really pretty purples. Do you have any photos of the trimmed up buds?

Those are some dandy plants!

I’m slow as hell trimming, I’m way more meticulous than need be, but I like my personal smoke to look nice and manicured and I use the sugar leaf trim for edibles and some dry sift.
So far 3 of 5 plants from my 2x4 have yielded about 5oz trimmed going at maybe a half oz per hour depending on how focused I stay. Feels like a fairly slow pace to me, especially thinking of having multiple pounds to deal with!

Some of the Bodhi divine intervention I just got done with tonight

What strain are these?

I spent 3 odd hours on 3 plants of one strain and a full no sleep overnighter of 8 hours on 3 plants of another strain.

Amazing the difference. My indoor is not nearly as long as your sentence:

No trimming for me. Did a small pot run. Went away for a couple of days and my automated watering didn’t work. Came back to dead plants 8 weeks in to flower :see_no_evil: Rescued what I could. I’ll be in trim jail for about 10 minutes.

That’s a lot of trimming @Lady.Zandra63
One of these days I’ll grow some big plants too and it’ll take me more than a couple hours per plant.

How’s your son’s knee doing? Hopefully fully recouped by now!

Here’s my outdoor “monsters” I’m going to chop today. They look like they’ll take about 30 minutes each.

I used to fill a 10’ x 10’ x 8’ high room with a 1000w HID.

Six plants took 5 - 6 hrs per day for a week to trim :astonished:

After legalization I grow four plants in roughly a 5’ x 5’ x 8’ space in a 10’ x 10’ x 8’ high room.

I top above the fourth node and remove at least the first node. And I limit tops to 12 - 16 ish and lollipop the bottom 1/3.

Wet trim, no more than 1/2 hour, buck the buds off the branches, again no more than 1/2 hour. Autos yield from 6 to 16 oz, photos vegged 50 days, yields 8 - 13 oz.

Left > Cafe Racer, right > Malawi x Panama

11L totes for cure…

Now with a new LED I am doing a quadline !

Top above the fourth node and remove the first and second nodes.

Train horizontal until plant is about 20" wide and then flip to flower and let them grow up !

Pinching off all secondary side branches with the intent to have only ~12 long full cola’s to trim

Spend a few minutes every day pinching and training and cut your trim time down Drastically ! Large full size buds and an increase in high quality yield !

Cheers

With a Wet Field sticking-it to us last year… we planted a little extra this season.

Thankfully they all Peaked at different times, and it was just a steady month-long Trim-sentence.

Just getting my Head around 18+ lbs, we had a wild season! We’ve got a bunch of Happy Friends

ive been spoiled ever since i got the cannatrol to go the wet trim way and as much as i love the dry trim way i now indulge on the death fan

takes my one handed ass a very manageable time on harvest assisted with the bucker lid for my 5gal bucket

my sentence is around 5-6 hours by myself on 1 plant of about 1.5-2# of dried buds

thats from the tree to the cannatrol(trimed and bucked)

makes this processing job easy peasy lemon squeezy

i sadly do not have photos of my triming session

@Chuckeye @MissinBissin holy shit! That’s a lot!

Seed run trimming . Each container is something different

I know I don’t need to trim these branches since it’s just for seed :upside_down_face: I enjoy it while watching tv since I’ve never had to spend 8 hours a day for days on end
