The Trichomes said it was time for the main plant to be chopped! It was fun cutting it out of the net
This will be my first time not doing a wet trim before drying. It personally made sense to me do so trim jail was minimized but will keep an extra eye out on its drying process. I am thinking it will be a good ten+days which will be right around my bday
The smells I got was like a sweet, sticky, sandlewood. Lately, with my grows I have experienced hollow stems when I harvested. With TPR, it was pretty solid. Gave me some trouble on the main stem which was like a huge bouquet roses but much better

Looks like the plant I have been spraying with STS has finally reacted!
Looks like its mainly showing males parts on the top colas. Still not seeing anything on the inside of the plant but who knows what can pop up still. To think I was about two to three days away from destroying it.
The question from here is should I let it chill in its own tent and pollinate itself or try to cram it in with the four other plants that have outgrown this one?

Very interesting situation youre in. Those look like classic stress bananas, not STS created balls. I wonder if the pollen from those bananas will be herm reg pollen vs. fem pollen created by STS induced balls.

I hope its not the stress ones… where do fem pollen sacs usually produce? On the branches like usual?

This is what a STS reversed plant commonly looks like.

Very interesting indeed!
These were the instructions for the spray I used.

Would you say this is late in flower for STS to be working properly? It also looks like late flower herming to me as well but that’s because I’ve never reversed a plant but have let a plant remain in flower too long. I’m mostly asking to note down whenever I may approach feminization myself down the line. Is it better to begin application in pre flower? Or should you wait until flowers have begun developing?
I could be wrong but I have not seen the same set of instructions when I was browsing for an sts spray to use. I posted a pic of instructions and followed those exactly! Sprayed every other three days when the lights turned off. First application was on the fourth day of flowering.

I have been warned against using pre-mixed STS for anything other than experimenting and expecting good results but this is also a game with a lot of sticklers and sometimes the harder way just gets more respect than convenience. Thank you for posting the instructions.

The other brand I bought isnt a premix. I will get some other thoughts on here before confirming if the plant stays or will be destroyed.

Yes please do, this is not my subject of expertise! Man, it’s still such a beautiful plant, I’d even give herm seeds a chance if they were offered! They would just be the only thing in my grow that year.
Yes, way too late for STS on that plant.
After consultation with @ChinookKing and some other members I am going to destroy this plant. Learning experience for sure and will get the new clones potted up to keep this feminized project going.
I plan to try and reverse one of the clones earlier before it gets too big and start flowering one clone out not too long afterwards. The four remaining clones will be reserves to pull more clones if needed.
I appreciate anyone who has talked with me today on this matter

Absolutely beautiful plant. I can’t wait for you to nail it the next go around.

I moved the clones to their starter pots and seem to be adjusting well. Once these have grown a little more I will give the reversal another attempt.
This clone is about to pop roots anyday and has maintained a very healthy color compared to the others.
These four are in week 3.5 I think
still debating on pollinating one of them so I dont go over the legal limit I can hold in my home for my state. I love the early flowering stage of this cultivar

So its been seven days since I chopped the mother plant into smaller pieces to dry. Out of my normal practice I did not do a wet trim and just lwft all leaves attached. As impatient me was itching to get a taste of this flower i decided to trim up one branch.
It was dry to the point I am willing to smoke some but definitely needs a few to several more days before trimming any more. There was not much to trim besides the fan leaves on thia specific branch. Hopefully, the rest of trimming will go well! The flowers seem a little on the airybside currently but loving the stigmas with the purple
