@TropicalBiophile Landrace Giveaway

I have plenty of Colombian black seeds from the plains (“llanos”) between Colombia and Venezuela. If you are interested I can share, it would be fun to see how they do out of here.

I guess I wouldn’t mind having some. Are you just giving some to try out?

As opposed to trying to start a business out of it? :joy: By all means. It´s just that I´ve saved a good deal and since I cannot grow them by the 100s to see what is their “grown to potential”, I can just pass them around.

To keeping it to be a chore though, if there is enough interest, I thought about mailing directly to some of the most trusted members around here, and some that just have played nice, and probably send another larger batch if someone is willing to distribute them. Dozens of letters going to the US doesn´t seem like such a good idea.

Man o man…please do distribute some of these/ and vice versa…

i volunteered last time to distribute tho i’m in canada and 95% of the packages went to US. I don’t mind doing it at all it’s just more customs, but maybe it’s easier(safer?) to send a large number here. seeds are tiny tho i was surprised how small the package was last time. i guess we’ll see if every packages makes it or not this week :smiley:

This could be the way to go. Although these seeds are actually rather large for cannabis bird food, an Altoids tin can hold several hundred. I have less of “cripi” seeds (it being a name for sinsemilla hybrid crops) if anyone its interested, I don´t think I will grow them here.

I would recommend sending the seeds to the US for those that are in the USA. Nothing against @legalcanada but it took a long time to get the seeds shipped that @Viva_Mexico KINDLY SENT and @legalcanada kindly distributed I’m still waiting on mine… I’m just saying the process would be much faster if sent to someone in the USA then distributed to those here. Viva Mexico sent his seeds out to Legal canada on September the 5th and people are just now getting seeds here and it is November 29th so the whole process took almost 3 months.
I’m not complaining ,I’m just saying that I can promise that if they are sent to someone here in the USA that the mailing process would be much faster… Since you already plan to send me some seeds I will volunteer to mail them out to the other guys here in the USA if that’s ok with everyone ,I have given and received seeds from fellow members here with no issues so far other than one guy duping a few of us last year for some free seeds…

So it´s settled. That would make it much faster, and if they get lost in the machine they can be replaced.

it took over 2 months for the seeds to arrive from mexico … i sent them out within 1-2 weeks of receiving them all. so i can guarantee the process would have taken the same amount of time had they been sent to the US if they had even made it past customs.

I’m not trying to place any blame on anyone, I just know that I can get stuff from china in 8-10 days… I don’t know why but mail to the US seems to be faster…

That would be good man! Thanks @pookie123 and @TropicalBiophile!

that’s not from mexico though lol. again, it would have arrived to the US the same speed if it even made it past US customs, which given the packaging i honestly don’t think it would have (they envelope was kinda thick/bulky.) the registered letter took 1 month to arrive and the unregistered one took over 2 months. @Viva_Mexico warned everyone mexican post was slow …
