Trouble in paradise

Hey growers!

Long time no see. I’ve been away from growing for a bit and now turning around and doing it again. I have had so much trouble. I keep frying my clones.

I’ve invested in the ac infinity controller this after the first time. Tried the humidity bags, added an exhaust from ac infinity. After this third time I’ve added water filtration system to water with. I’m not sure what’s wrong or what to try. Maybe overwatering, so I got a moisture sensor as while. What do you all suggest?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome back :+1:

Are you having trouble taking clones or growing clones you bring home?

Tell us more about your process; light, avg temp/humidity, media, water/nutrient/frequency etc.

When you transplant a clone , water it well and keep it out of bright light. If it came from under a dome , you will need to keep it under a clear cup not sealed but leaning a bit. When it starts to dry and reaching up its time to feed 1/4 strength and remove the dome.

Ive been having stupidly better success cloning with the blue light on a cheap blurple

Plus you feel like you crawled into a tron arcade game.

Clones dont want to photo synthesize much

Both. These last three times have been clones that I brought home.

I keep it simple for my clones , I use a little weak Led light with a humidity dome for rooting and a slightly better light after it is rooted. I just use promix and water. My guess is whatever light you use to pop seeds should be sufficient. I would see if your soil is too hot if youre putting it in soil . I would also check drainage but I definitely dont water it too much until it shows growth.

Is there a fan really close by ?
Is it rooted for sure?
I like to give it a little tug to make sure it rooted after a couple weeks.
I was having an issue with like 2 of my clones but only from one plant that I was having issues with but you say its from different clones so my guess is something is going wrong in the process

Fan is about 18 inches away. Rooted in the little root riot cubes.

Thanks! Both. I’m still trying to dial in the process. Temp is steady around 70 F. Humidity has steady been around 50%. Was using an HLG 100, switched to a little led light. VPN has been 1.1 - 1.3. Watering every other day.

This could be your problem. @Hashpants gave a good general outline of how to get them rdy in your environment :+1:
