Ok I’ve started some plants to transfer to my 180 gallon 4x4 bed. I’ll eventually transplant them from the solo cups when my bed opens up. I’ll do 9 plants total. All females will be going in, just have to see sex on the regs first and decide who makes it. The Trumps Candy packs are hitting for $500 on CSI so there maybe some interest to see this one grown out by some… I Have 6 fems already and the remaining regs I’ll need to fill out the last 3 remaining spots.
Female seeds are:
2 Trumps Candy by CSI
2 Killer Queen by Brothers Grimm
1 Star Dream by BlueStar
1 Blueberry Lemon Shakeup by BlueStar
Regular seeds are
2 Kauai Purps by 808 Genetics
2 25 Lighters by Nutty North
2 Real Cookies by 808 Genetics
1 Tampa Crippie By Sunshine State Seedbank
One month since the seeds first hit water to start trying to sprout them. Something interesting is the female seeds are growing much more robust and are greener healthier looking. I’m wondering if I used different seed starter on the regs or what but they are much different for all being started at the same time. Ideally these would be transplanted to the 4x4 bed now but I need another 3 weeks before a 12 week gmo bx4 cut omg burger is finishing up. Maybe I’ll start manifolding them while they wait around.
Looks like an interesting grow! Some interesting strains. The bottom 3 pictures plants look a bit overwatered, idk if you use a moister meter at all.
I’ve seen large variances especially with polyhybrids
Yeah I believe you are correct, I’ll get them happy when they hit there final home. They can get a little rough in the small cups some times. I have a blumat water meter in the large bed that keeps things better in line.
odds are that the reversal wasn’t very successful and he only ended up with a smaller amount of seeds. Most of the stuff that CSI sells for crazy prices like that are because they barely produce any seeds like the Zkittles he sells for 300 a pack
Got my 4x4 180 gallon bed opened up and planted everything on 4/20. I doubled up two spots where I had regular m/f seeds. Since they weren’t showing yet I planted both specimens of Kauai Purps and 25 Lighters in the space for one plant. I’ll cull the males when it comes time and if none are female I’ll just use the other plants available and fill the space. The rest of the plants are all female. Ended up also planting a Mango Sherbet that had been kicking around in a cup for awhile. You can tell because it’s much more grown out and lankier with many branches front right.
This is a phenomenal line-up mate! I really tried to snag a pack of thst trumps candy in the auction, it was one of the onky ones u missed out on, i can’t wait to see your updates and how the flowers look and smoke reports, also that killer queen sounds amazing, a quality hybrid no doubt ! The plants are ooff to a great start and your set-up is awesome. Keep up the great work mate
I used to grow the killer queen almost exclusively from like 2003-2008 I had a clone that I ran over and over I think it may have been from motarebel at the time these are from brothers Grimm. All my
Friends and family would ask for it by name over everything else as a first choice. It was always a favorite by everyone, it was very colorful stuff too. This is my first time to have her back since then and I’m hoping it’s like I remember. The two plants of Killer queen have grown about the most robust out of all of them out of the gate. I’m hoping it’s a trip down memory lane.
2 weeks later now, the plants are loving the new root zone and thriving. The only one that is struggling is the Trumpy in the front middle. I noticed the bed was super dry when I planted and dumped like 5 gallons in the front of the bed. Well I think that has kept it way too wet and that plant is paying the price. Need it to dry back some and I think It will rebound, if not I’ll just hack it and use the space for the surrounding plants to stretch out. The rest of the plants are doing great. The Stardream by Bluestar is a vigorous monster, back row middle. Its a shame I’m gonna have to tame her some in the future I’m sure. I have confirmed females of the Kauai Purps and 25 Lighters those are two of my favorites from what I grew in 2024 and were the last 2 regular seeds of each. So we have a full 9 females on hand that look like they should make it to flower. Mostly looking good a little bummed one of the TCandys is suffering at the moment but that’s how it goes sometimes. Everything will turn out in the end. The size of these plants I think 4 in here would of been just fine. Oh well variety is the spice of life as they say.
3 weeks into flower today. Everything looks pretty good the front middle Trumps candy got stunted from overwatering early on and has never caught up. So I’m bending some nearby plants into the space. But I’m still gonna let it grow and see what I get from it the front left Trumps Candy plant is doing a better but is also one of the smallest plants in the tent. The rest are rocking and rolling. It’s looking very good for 3 weeks in, should be a stout harvest in the end. Have been defoliating nearly daily.
5 weeks into flowering and I really can’t complain for 7 different strains at once. They are cooperating just fine. Everything looks really good so far. First pic is Trumps Candy plant. The rest overall of everything. Blueberry Lemon Shakeup smells amazing, I have to agree with the breeder description of: Blueberry lemon muffin with OG kush wood polish, that is spot on!
Week 7 of flower, everything is starting to get some orange hairs and color on the buds. Still lots of new growth and white hairs still expanding buds are swelling nicely. Approx 2 weeks to go!
Just turned on the UV light after taking these pics and overnight the purple colors are starting to really come out, the Trumps Candy reminds me of a bowl or fruity pebbles in color.
