Continuing with the thread diversions...
Please consider the idea that: in the US the words "conservative" and "liberal" do not reflect anything substantive about individuals, do not describe an adult person's complex beliefs/opinions, are a 'divide and conquer' mechanism, do not serve the people, are comparable to "the N word" inasmuch as the meaning is entirely dependent on who is speaking to whom and it what *context, either an epithet against one or an endearment against the other, ultimately just being... bullshit. ?
As we can see here and nearly anywhere else, *consensus amongst humans is a goal, not a present reality, to build upon. Common experience and information are necessary conditions... there is no community without the "co".
I suggest abandoning the labels altogether & enouraging others to consider the notion.
