When I ordered my 4x4 last year my plan was to show my first grow in it here…but I didn’t even open the box for a couple of months lol. I had a little cherry pie in a kratcky jug that was clinging to life and kinda crowded in the cabinet lookin ugly. I took it out of the cab and let it stay in the room with me. It started looking alot better and eventually went into flower( I was surprised see my light cycle was ). Potted her up in a 1gl and,that’s what made me finally put up the 4x4.

I chopped the cherrypie last night before lightsout. She was at week10 of flower and I dumped some improperly stored GG pollen on her from week2-4. No sign of seeds. Pollen was in one of those pill bottle with the dessicent packs in the bottle top at room temp since 2022.
I added a Negan’s Bat from @Rhai88 to the flower tent last night after I took some cuts from the top hope it’s a girl I’m 1:5 so far with my reg seeds so we could use some more ladies in the mix. Lights just went off for the night so … here it is
Things are getting exciting over here since I finally get to put some of the seeds from you guys into flower, and seeds that ive just been lookin at since I made them. This OG community is the reason I’m still passionate about growing, no one around me gives a damn about any of this shit. I so happy there is a place like this where I can share some of my story. Yup, flower tent it is. The lights are 2 groplanner 150watts at 80% right now. The soil at this point is a lil bit of everything recycled and reamended and added to for a while. Its still a little outta wack but getting there I think lol. I started out with bags of ocean forest and happy frog and amended with scoops of I think the 4-4-4 allpurposed dry amend and the bloom one. i used about 2 of those promix garden soil compressed things( which didnt work out well each time). the last addition was around Christmas, wich was a bag of mushroom compost and 2 bags of ocean forest( aka fungas nats). around that time i started amending with pennington rejuvenate 4-4-4 all purpose and i started using FF cavern culture dry in flower when the bloom one ran out( think I overdid it at some point with the CC)throughout the whole thing there was a bag of perilite and everynow and then something random like coffee grounds/tea,cut a yucca that went bad, carbon from the air filter refill soaked inna lil dirt, water and roots and dry amendments. I also have a bottle of FF grow big , and tiger bloom. I normally use those when put clones in kractky containers to root or to not have to worry about watering. the solution I mix for that I sometimes mix a little in with my waterings . Fabric pots for the most part(dollar store felt and some felt from hobby lobby, and so far Ive never actually bought a pot). I think the regular pots in the flower tent are about 5gl and the crate is a couple of gallons more. my temps in the summer are in the 80s. I dont defoliate much .normally a little at the beginning of flower Ill clean up the bottoms. I pull fully yellow or dying leaves throughout the whole grow if I can. Thats kinda how it is minus the stuff i forgot lol.

I feelin pretty good about what I’m seeing right now. The Cherry pie is lookin a lil trashy( I just haven’t had the energy to get on there and clean her up…), but she has a tart smellyness that is coming out a lil stronger than pior grows ( maybe the stress).
Most or all of this one will go to making feco since im supposed to be getting the hang of making feco this year, but haven’t made any yet lol. Here’s a look at what I pulled of the Cherry pie in the 1gal:
It doesn’t smell like the mom at all there is a lil sweetness to it. The mom had a gassy, cement gluey type smell. Checked trichs for fun, they still look like glass…im in no rush. She’s at week9. I didn’t even realize I was that far along till I noticed the buds bulking up and the plant was leaning and pulling itself outta the pot some.

This is the mess I’ve been wanting to show y’all. I normally call this cabinet my clonezone, but right now I’m calling it Zombieland. In the beginning of the year I was finishing up and seed run with 2 Kush4 x SSDD I got from the @Kyumonryu co-op run. Seeds were falling everywhere + I was struggling with germination and seedlings damping off.things fell online and plant started growing…then ZOMBIES!!! Everywhere lol popping up outta every pot it was crazy! I was playing around with earthworm castings during germination and rolled alot of the seeds didn’t pop back into the soil. Between that and all the seeds I’m sure fell into the dirt from the seed run( wich is prob the majority of the zombies) we got about 11 plants to play around with. Here they are:
I’ve been used to growing one seed at a time of most strains I’ve had due to space. I only had the 2x2 at first.A neighbor was throwing out some cabinets and bam! I had a place for clones… I’m taking this Zombie opportunity to help me figure out how I wanna move plants through my setup with the addition of the 4x4. I thought about doing an open pollination with the Zoms, but decided to toss any males and see what we got. I was looking through my seed collection and was like damn! I wanna pop a bunch of these…so I gotta get a move on with these ZOMBIES. Uppotted 4 last night, so we’re on our way. I love seeing you guys talk about all these different strains and traits and everything from your experiences. It alway leaves me felling like" I need to see more plants in my dirt/hands"…well here we are!
Flower tent is lookin alright. I’m about ready to call it on the Cherry pie so I can put the Zombies in that tray. Gg’s days a numbered aswell prob another week or 2. SugarBelts x NanaGlue is building up some steam. I think im about to be really impressed. Negan’s Bat is coming in aswell and in honor of Father’s day umma whip out some bread bags and try to pollenate some lowers on Negan’s Bat with some improperly stored kush4 xssdd pollen. I feel like I waited to long the hit the SB x NG. I’m looking forward to seeing if I can keep it tight with the breadbags and not pollenate everything. Anyway here’s the 4x4:

I taped two tubes of the Kush4 x SSDD pollen per bag inside two bread bags and put them over two lowers on the Negan’s Bat with twist tie. Sparyed around with water and popped one tube yesterday and popping one today. We see if this pollen takes. It’s been stored in tubes in a lil jar in a drawer since January . I’m playin games… lets see if we win.
Starting off with a update on the 4x4. I put 2 of the zombies in the tent to see what we got. Cherry pie is prob coming down this week. Everything is lookin good to me. Looks like the pollen took on the Negan’s bat, so we are gonna have some seeds( wish I had picked a bigger branch)
My lil Cherry pie scrog got the chop. Dont laugh at my ex guinea pig cage dry space, imma ring what I can outta every dollar spent if I can. Canvas tarp wrapped and ready to go. I tried to route the exhaust so the air hole at the top would suck air through the dry space( not sure how well it’s working yet). I’ll build a frame to wrap the tarp around one day, but this works for now.
So, I got the trellis up a day or to too late. Dropped a chunk of the Cherry pie on the Negan’s bat and found her like this in the morning all hungover
Zombies 3 and 7 have joined 9 and 8 in the sexing. I decided 9 would be the only one I would keep if it’s male which I think it’s showing itself to be. It was the strongest plant in the cabinet, went across to the other side and was actually holding some of the others up. Sadly no good stem rub, but growth look good and it’s earned a shot in my eyes. #9 for President !..we’ll see lol. Imma make a list of all the possible strain the Zoms could be. I’m pretty sure the majority are K4SSDD crosses and F3s, but there were others that could’ve been in the the castings from a bad time germination seeds. It’s crazy to see them in flower now lol. When they started popping out of the pots it really felt like a Zombie attack lol. Anyway here are the ones in flower and a closeup of 9’s ( black pot) lil nutties.
Since im showing nutties I better show some boobs. Negan’s Bat and it 2 (better be) Pollenated branch. I’m not sure which is more exciting watching buds develope, seeds or sexing plants.
And lastly this GG is showing out. I mentioned that that mom had a gassy kinda smell and this one is sweet smelling on facebook. A guy said that takin at 50-60s it had chem notes and the chocolate diesel takes over after 70 for depending on when you take it. What do y’all think?
Update time. The good the bad and the ugly time!! Two residents of the tent are out. Sadly one was not supposed to have nuttios. Zom #9 showed male… last look.
Gorilla glue came down at about 72 days. I moved it to the front to get ready for harvest in a couple of days… saw some dried up lookin balls in a node( pinched before I could get a pick on the plant) and some coming outta a top I think. Game over. She’s frosty though. I have 2 clones I’ll find out if it’s me or her that drove her nutty. I didn’t see pollen when I mushed them but time will tell.
Just want to throw up the GG from 2022 that I selfed a clone of to get this current GG that was harvested for comparison. Buds look alike and the short stocky plants held the heavy buds on both well. Smells were totally different so far. Looking forward to what the dry and cure do to this sweet one. Praying the high is comparable to the 2022, because it’s in the top 3 of what I’ve grown so far.
So, here’s the tent now. I moved the Negan’s bat (day56) and SugarBelts x NanaGlue (day 67)and zom#8 into the 2x2 to finish, and brought the unk#1 x suicideblack and Skyhigh Octane og into the 4x4. A couple more Zombie for the tent plus our beat up JTR daddy.
2x2 goit work to do.we are gonna try to harvest ang reveg all 3 of these if we can. I think SB x NG is prob done I’ll check trichs soon. Negan’s Bat in the back front left zom#8 and SB x NG to the right.
Update time! SugarBelts x NanaGlue has been mostly harvested and a new 1gal pot for reveg . The JTR male that I sexed got new shoes and as of yesterday is dropping pollen.
Big bro prob wont be to far behind him. I also put 2 JTR seeds/seedlings in to try a 12/12 from seed.( one already died, so I stuck another seed in the pot). From what I’m seeing my timing may work out for them to get into flower and eat some pollen in about 3-5 weeks right before I’m ready to pull the boys. If not I should be able to collect enough pollen to hit umm up.( if I can get a girl)
The final plant in the first run of this 4x4 is finishing up in the 2x2 alongside zom #8 whom I hope to smoke seedless and a GG S1 clone who’s getting ready for the pollen bath( she showed nanners last time, but im hoping it was my terrible watering and the heatwave. Either way the smoke is good enough to risk it lol). Sry about the blurple I’ll take better pics into this tent soon. I got airflow and heat probs in this tent that I’ve been to lazy to deal with, but I think I’m almost done playing with fire.
This run is well under way now, and I can’t believe I didn’t tag @ix3u who sent me the JTR( Thanks again!). The one 12/12 from seed looks like it’s gonna live. Imma put another seed in the other pot and see how it goes. There should be plenty of seeds, but I wants some F’s too. Here’s the tent last night:
The list of possible strains the Zombies could be.
I’d say there is like a
10-20% chance anyone could be: JTR, Powie-Wowie, Powie-pineapple, GG, EarlySkunk x Gg, Sugerbelts x Nanaglue, Skyhigh Octane og x GG and maybe a few more.
80-90% are prob from the K4SSDD run: K4SSDD F3, Cherrypie x K4SSDD, (Unk#1 x Suicideblack) x K4SSDD , Sho og x K4SSDD, ( Gelato x GG) x K4SSDD.
Zom#2 and #6 weren’t in flower when I took the full body pics, but you can see them in the main Pic. #6 has a purple twist tie holding it up. The closer pics are from the 5th and the full body ones are from july26. I got 3 more Zombies that I haven’t labeled yet. They wanted to grow, so we’ll see what they got. Most of the clones died…but hey, it is what it is. I need tonpractice reveg anyway, so if something catches my eye.
The first run in my 4x4 is officially done! Negan’s Bat is in the jar. I got a pic of her laid out like a fat lady on the beach on her last day. The smell had lessened after dry, so I hope some time in the jar bring it back, because it was funky( the only thing I could smell in the tent). The branches I "pollenated " have not shown any seeds. I’ll mush them all the way tonight, but looks . Looks like the will be plenty of JTR crosses though.
Here’s the Sugerbelts x Nanaglue before her last day on the 2nd. Lost the reveg so I’ll pop somemore to get some girls in front of the male. I’m really looking forward to hitting Skyhigh Octane og with this hoping to get the frost from this with the SHo og’s limon-lime.
Sadly I lost some nise colas to mold… like I said… playin with fire…I knew I was likely to have a prob went from heat to rain slammed me. I’mma get my airflow right soon. I rerouted the the exhaust, will get a lil clip fan soon for th 2x2.
The Gorilla glue from this run ended up smelling just like the mom. It’s crazy because while growing it was sweet smelling, but out of the bag it’s different. This smell is what I think I will understand as diesel for now. It’s unique to me as far as none of the other plants I’ve grown have smells like thus. I don’t have the same historical reference a lot of you all have and have only been to a dispensary once, so im building my catalog as we grow.
The Cherrypie came out better than I thought. Most of it is in the freezer for feco. I smoked some of what I left for me to smoke( and realized I should have left myself more). It was smooth and had a good taste. Mild as far as potency, but stronger than my previous runs of it. I hope to find a better rep of cherrypie in the cross I have with K4ssdd.
I lost some but gained more than enough so I’ll call this run a success.
Update on the JTR pollen Chuck. I was nervous about flowering in the 1gl, but things are lookin pretty good. Pollination has occurred so it time to remove the males. The clone will go first , and I’ll leave the big one till the GG s1 clone I’m about to put in is pollenated. Imma try to collect from the jtr clone and work on storing and keeping it viable. I’ll do a couple of dibs on the pollen if there is interest. The males won’t be around long enough to pollenate the 12/12 from seed JTRs so collecting viable pollen is a must. Here is a look at the tent and it’s inhabitants.
Hey! I collected some pollen from the clone and a branch of the JTR. I put what I got in 4 envelopes which are now in the fridge. I know this thread doesn’t have a of folks checking it out so I’ll leave a 24hr Dibs up in this lonely part of town for the first 4 men/women to call dibs on on this pollen.
