Quite a mix of Sizes, glad to hear it (“male” plant size) can be random… and is not a “Set” status…
Thanks @drgreensleeves
Yes so this leads me to believe that the tribe didn’t do much if any selection more of a field selection if even that it’s a riddle for me and one of my favorite things to do I meditate and muse on the indigenous farmers and their practices all the time with every “Landrace” I grow
it’s fun
Greetings @drgreensleeves, this photo of the Ukufu just popped a long-standing question into the front of the Line…
When the time comes, what are the steps for Trimming a String of Pearl Branch / Buds… or any really open and airy bud…
Question is a fine-line, cuz theres tonnes of debris… and tiny treasures.
How do you set out to clean a messy task or draw the line
@MissinBissin honestly bro I cut the big leafs off and just break down the rest pick the seeds out and smoke it, leaves and all well I pick the stems out of course ![]()
@MissinBissin and to be honest I used to care about “no leaf” but not anymore and rightously not for some time now ![]()
and I’ve found the buzz can be “different” oftentimes more complex with bits of leaf the J I’ve heard that 160 total cannabinoids with 90 of them in the buds and 70 in the leaf matter now I haven’t lab tested this but the smoke does seem more complex, thoughts?
Well, I would like to see some scientific data as to why sugar leafs (or regular leafs for that matter) are not ok to be smoked (or consumed by other means - i.e. Bhang) in the first place…
This is why when bhang is made from plants that haven’t started flowering yet can get you high af …
The more you purify (bubble, dry shift, hash oil etc.) the more predictable and boring the high gets.
I wonder if it will be possible to lab test this ![]()
That’s also my experience.
I assume the “filtrating” and refining processes remove many (most) secondary cannabinoids also.
Thanks for the comments guys; it brings some merit back to including the sugars leaves, with all the Trichomes being regularly involved.
having ~ 70 identified contributors in the Sugars / Leaf matter is a Huge # @drgreensleeves
I will definitely keep them when making extracts. Less trimming is a win win situation.
Morphic resonance?
As we are discussing this scientists are developing new methods of testing…

Yeah and it could very well be 70 in total leaf matter I wanna say 40 in the sugar leaf and 30 in the other leaf , I think
I still haven’t seen any actual numbers though to back this up
Cook him up.
