I’ve been trying to use these viparspectra p1000 with the Samsung qled chip unsuccessfully. The foot print is like 2.5’x2.5’ flower footprint at 18” I believe, I had 2 in a 4x4 grow tent hung catty corner in two opposite sides of tent. Plants showed super bad signs of heat stress so dimmed the lights to like 50% still heat stress signs, took one of the lights out and turned it down to 30% and hung it around 3.5 foot above canopy. Does this sound right, and here are results.

the light read to be 100W. what happens when you raise the light? still signs of stress?
I have 300W set up in my 3x3 tent with the light mounted as high as I can. running full blast.

After removing one light, the one left is as high up in the tent as it will go. Was still showing stress at like 75%-50% power, it finally started looking decent at 30% power. I’ll attach image before light reduction, oh yeah I forgot to mention that it stopped growing height and started bushing.

By the looks of the plant, it seems healthy and thriving. In the mean time move the lights higher. Do you have a light meter to measure light intensity? They are inexpensive and take the guess work out of the equation. Good luck!
