They seem to be loving their new homes. I did some more LST after I took these pictures. So my Big question is What, When, and If I should feed them anything. Right now they are in 5 Gallon Buckets with proper drainage with Happy Frog. I’m watering with water I have held in a reservoir as I read the chlorine in the tap water will kill the microbes that actually feed the plant in the Happy Frog soil. I was recommended Chicken Soup for cannabis once in flower at half strength. I was wondering if I should feed them anything in Veg or is the Happy Frog enough. I do have a little Coast of Maine Lobster compost mixed in but not much probably a gallon and half into 14 gallons. Should I top dress with more Coast of Maine compost if so when during veg or flower or both. Is there any products or methods people recommend for veg and flower? I realize just about everyone has a different method that works for them. I realize I need to find a method that works for me. I’m just looking for a nudge in the right direction. Also looking for an over all how I’m doing. I’m in MA I’m hoping I’m as far along as I should be.
The LC from coast of Maine is great stuff, wait until flower to add more IMO.
Make sure your water doesn’t have chloramine, it doesn’t evaporate like chlorine does.
Thank you very much. I was thinking of having my water tested. Guess I should get on it. I do plan on top dressing with the Coast of Maine Compost once she’s in flower. I was recommended Chicken Soup for Cannabis at half strength once they are in flower. I was wondering if its any good. Or if there’s something better i should get. Or should i not even bother and just stick with the Coast of Maine.
I haven’t heard of chicken soup for cannabis. I’m finding the stongington blend with a bit of extra perlite, being fed cal mag and pH down has been doing great, 6 weeks in now. Oh I gave them a little molasses and coconut water the other day too.
I’m trying to stop using bottled nutes, I like roots organic line for bottled stuff though. The base 3 plus surge kills it.
Howdy neighbor. I think those plants look wonderful. Now all you have to do is be careful to not overdue anything or try and do too much. In other words LITFA. Sunlight kills chlorine if your worried about that. Happy frog has what they need to be fed, I’d be cautious adding more. I agree with @anon93244739 great stuff but wait .
Upon their vivid colour and healthy looking I don’t think they need extra nutes, just LITFA. I would wait until watching some yellowing in lower fans or other deficiency symptom to add more, with pre fertilised soil it is easy to make it excessive hot …
Very Awesome! Thank you all for the advice. That’s exactly what I wanted to hear. I figured it had enough as they have been growing really smoothly so far. Ill wait and probably just top dress. I’m very happy they look healthy and are moving along at a good pace. @Bostonbud are you on Instagram your screen name is familiar I’m on there with the same name as here Bdh420
No I’m not on Instagram but I’ve been on a bunch of boards for a long time.
