Used Indoor Grow Setups

Is it possible to pick up a quality indoor grow setup or is this something you want to build yourself?

I’ll probably be getting a lot of overtime again this winter/early spring time and after I put enough into savings I want to invest into an indoor grow setup.

I wouldn’t think you’d find a “kit” but there’s plenty of second hand gear on marketplace/kijiji from people who didn’t realize some of the realities of growing.

Personally this is a good thing. I can cobble together my own equipment with time and patience at a very good price.

I never bought a “kit” I ordered mine piece by piece to build it. Found two “full” set ups on marketplace.

Kit’s do exist but they are always lacking in some items build quality or function to a seasoned growers eye. This is not to turn you away as it’s also a cheapish way to get what you need to start up and learn.

Here’s an example:

The more you grow the more XP you gain and the more you’ll end up swapping out items or making a second tent from selected components chosen based on that XP you gained.

I always suggest looking at second-hand market places like “Kijiji”, “Craigslist”, & “Facebook Marketplace”. The latter you have to already be on FB but it’s honestly where I got much of my EQ for the cheapest.

And say you didn’t enjoy the experience and you want you get rid of your stuff… well, that exact scenario is how I’ve gotten 50% of my higher end gear!

When I can’t afford new I often CAN afford “New to me”!

 :+1:

This is the way I get my expensive upgrades aswell… Social media in my area in particular in California is absolutely flooded with gear of all levels. I got a near new quest dehumidifier for 250 recently. I would not pay what they ask for those things new but I could afford 250 lol Cheers !!!

If your a handy person, you can build them pretty easy.
If your NOT a handy person, the tents are a fantastic, as it’s all ready been sussed out for you, all the ports for air in, air out, it takes about 10 minutes to stand up a 4’ x 4’ x6’ tent.
I put my 4’ x 8’ x 7’ hydropharm, up by myself, in 45 minutes, or so.
All the cool growing related helpers, fans, extractors, lights, all plug and play now.
I gave up all my tents,( hell wore them out) but one tent now, and hung Panda film, into rooms, a roll is pretty cheap, and a staple gun and staples cheap also.
Then you get all related material and make them work get them mounted up.
Tents make it so fast. Panda is super cheap, but labor intensive, pick your poison, and get to growing your buds!!LOL!
All the best to your project!!
