Uv filter for aquarium algae

saw thison amazon and was curious about its use in hydroponics would this be beneficial to prevent algea or waste of time and money

I believe that @ReikoX uses UV light in his reservoir. That’s a good indicator.

I started using one very similar to that in addition to regular treatment s of chlorine. As far as does it work, I guess time will tell.

I have seen many folks adding UV to their rez to help prevent problems.

Yes, but my resivoir is just RO water. :wink:
