As the seeds dry and then I pack them, I have these thoughts:
These seeds will be known as “VCA 3x1” and “VCA 1x1”. They really do not represent the entire gene pool of Bodhi’s Supernatural Selection; they represent my selections in F1 and F2. Bodhi literally said to work the lines, which I am doing. The initials on the name make it clear that I am not hiding anything, but denote that this is not an open population of Bodhi’s original line, at all.
VCA 1x1 represents the F3 generation of what I am selecting toward: a narrow-leaf, often crinkle-leafed plant that reminds me of old Willie Nelson and produces a superb high. VCA 3x1 represents an alternate F3 that contains the genetics from the #1 plant, as well as the quicker-finishing but similar #3.
Slightly more genetic diversity will be found in the 3x1, but the 1x1 will more consistently produce the plants I am selecting for. Everything in the 1x1 should also be present in the 3x1, but the 3x1 will also have hybrid leaf plants with a similar superb high.
So, the seeds have been harvested, dried, and now are in the process of packing!!
I have packed the 1x1 and 3x1 separately, and they are going out in large packs of both varieties very soon! The best way to obtain these seeds would be to trade with a member of the Bodhi Apocalypse Vault.
Nice man!
Was the male used the crinkle-leaf one, or did that one turn out to be the hermie?
What’s your next plan with this line? Guessing you’ll be looking through the 1x1’s?
The male was not crinkle leaf, but it’s from the crinkle side. The female in 1x1 was a true crinkle. Female 1b was culled because it went FULL herm lol
