Im getting the residual gllow from some of the diodes when its sposed to be scheduled off.
Anyone else experience this? If so what did you do?
Ont of my lights dose this but usually goes out after about 1 or two minutes
The reason is because you need to have two prong instead of using the three prong blog. You might have to get a surge protector and cut the ground off.
If it’s a two prong then it’s touching something that is grounded.
Can’t speak to your controller but I’ve heard of lower cost timers causing this too.
Bumped because it didnt get much traction yesterday ![]()
Saw an old thread on rollitup that describes the same thing. Ac and vipar weren’t much help
Okay… I have the ACI AI controller. and an undercanopy light. RJ-12 to UIS, to a 4-to-1 adapter. All my lights are on the same Port. works fine. the rj-12 adapter didn’t wanna work as a UIS port on it’s own. no power in that UIS-chain. my AC adapter is for the exhaust fans.
What’s your issue? What adapter? what kind of setup? If you really want help… It’s putting those settings and scenario, all that info out there.
Someone already said about 2/3 prongs, and being grounded. any response on that?
This reddit post shows their 0-10v is off a bit. like 1 step. but… idk what your setup is. so. ya.
not gonna get much traction with just asking for traction.
I run a viparspectra ks5000 light . I recently got an ac infinity ai controller. I hooked the light to the controller with ac infinitys type A dongle adapter. Thos seemed to work fine and provided 1-10 dimming and pther programming features. I set the controller to schedule 12/12 for the light and observed the graph on the ac infinity app to be sure the lighr was indeed shutting off for a proper photoperiod dark cycle and it was. Then i checked the tent during light out and saw some glowing diodes in the ks5000. Thanks for your help.
Weird. I couldn’t hook my RJ12 dongle right to the AI controller. I had to use the 4-to-1 adapter. I needed to add power into the UIS bus. So… you got this thing going right into a UIS port on the AI controller? and it works?
Graph per what in the AI controller? Port 1 power mode at 0? or light meter at 0.00% ? I have the CO2/Light Meter adapter on my AI controller.
Light driver is hooked straight to the controller with the adapter which has the rj11 cable on one side and uis on the other.
Next day i can see on thr graph that light meter on the co² sensor shows 0.00. Controller port is set to zero as the minimum.
Did you get this solved? I just checked my similar set up this morning and noticed my light was set to 0 but still emitted light.
Luckily only autos in flower, but about to flip my photos.
No i never did get it ironed out. I switched to the uis outlet.
I wanted to revisit the 2 different setup configurations they show but never got around to trying the second configuration
Anf also welcome to OG.
And the light works great even still
