What are the rules on rooted clones, snips & seeds in VA. Gifting v.s. sales etc.? Or is it all just grey area & unenforced.

Never heard of ID requirements for snips. Technically I think they don’t qualify because of the THC threshold. ? I know shops carry them.

I know of a handful of people around RVA that sell clones, theyve never asked for ID, even those that don’t know me.

My only “cool” story is one time I got an ounce of “real” Ghani from a dude in the country, and it was some of the best shit I ever saw. I’m convinced the specops/specwar community have been running seed operations coming back and forth due to OEF.

So long as you only have four plants total, two or less in flower at any time, and all of them have your driver’s license number on a tag on the stem (lol) then you’re in compliance. It’s a joke.
There is no flowering plant limit in VA. You can grow a max of 4 plants per household and they can be vegging plants or flowering, according to the law it doesn’t matter. It’s VA code 4.1-1101 for anyone that want to get the details on home grow. DC has limits that include flowering and non flowering but not us in VA.

Ah good call-out, I could have sworn the original VA bill limited flowering count, but I didn’t see any language to that effect when checking just now.

It gets so confusing with so many rules and then it gets worse trying to figure out neighboring states. Maybe one day it will be legal Federally and we can all have the same rules. I’m just happy we can grow our own meds without fearing the helicopters overhead like the old days.

I’m not sure if any of you are close to roanoke, im pretty sure I’ll be able to start taking cuts to clone these. I could be wrong tho. if anyone is interested the option is available.

My light off schedule is 3:00am - 3:00pm … Looks like I only run in the expensive tier for a little bit.
I run my lights at these times to cut down the temp in the growhouse during hot hours when the sun is out. So I guess I am breaking even as the ac doesnt have to work so hard during those hours.
I would do 6am-6pm but I dont want to wait that long to get in there to water and trim.

My flower schedule now is lights off 6am to 6pm. These hot Va. summers can turn a basement tent to a sauna.
