Washington State outdoor grow problems

So I have a few plants I’m in north Western Washington State and they are out on my balcony growing in native soil amended with craft blend by build a soil. And top dressed every couple weeks also fed sst and aloe water. Everything was great until about the last 2 to 3 weeks other than the fact that I don’t think I’m going to be able to finish in time before we get to cold so I was planning on moving them into my 4x4 to finish flowering. But now about two weeks ago I’m noticing leaves yellowing getting random brown and dark grey spots and then pretty quickly the whole leaves either yellows curls and dies off or I take them off but it’s now spreading from plant to plant and idk what is going on all my grow experience is from southern California where our climate is completely opposite and our problems are different also cuz I’ve never seen this. :joy: I was thinking this is leaf septoria but it doesn’t seem to be the small brown spots I am seeing all over the Internet. So now I’m less sure does anyone know what’s going on and how can I treat or stop this before putting it in my tent or should I just not even bother putting them in the tent and start some new stuff inside and not risk bringing in the problem?

P.s. I have a mars of that is furthest from the problem that seems to be okay but slowly I’m seeing a few leaves yellow and a sweet island skunk both seeds from my grandfather that I want to keep around but the seeds are old and germination rates are dismal I did 20 of each and got 1 mars og that was female and 3 sweet island skunk but two were male I kept those in hopes of making new seeds of the same strain with the 1 female but the SIS seems to be having the leaf problems pretty good I took three clones from each plant all three mars og have rooted and 1 SIS so far but they seem to be showing signs of leaf problems and now I’m worried about even growing those out but as I said I’d really like to keep this strain around before it’s gone forever as gpa is no longer able to keep them going which is why I ended up with his seed supply. Any help is greatly appreciated and I know I’m not expert so I’ll take any info! Thanks guys and happy growing!

Native soil. Could be something eating roots. Too Wet, no aeration, rot. Or other???

That soil Looks like it needs more aeration to it those plants are running too soaked

I noticed in one of your photos that you’re using straw as mulch. Just a heads-up — straw helps retain moisture by reducing evaporation, so you may need to adjust your watering schedule accordingly.

I ran into this issue myself this year. I always use straw mulch, but because I had everything on timers, it ended up overwatering the areas with straw. Just something to watch out for!

Thank you for the input I was thinking the straw could be a problem but honestly with them being outside the crazy heat we’ve had the past few months I had to add the mulch to stop from having to water almost everyday being that I used native soil it is very well draining since we get so much rain out here the soil doesn’t seem to hold onto it well. But I do think I caused this due to over watering before I added the mulch now that I’ve added the mulch it’s only every second or third day they are getting a bit of water now and that’s working well but yeah in California we would go collect our soil from the red wood forest and it worked great I normally would add perlite but didn’t have any this time around and plants were already needing a place to. But out here the native soil is probably loaded with fungal spores so let’s just say I won’t be doing that again. Thanks again for the input all info helps and I love hearing different points of view

Just a little follow up. So I ended up taking clones from two of the plants took 3 from the mars O.G. and 3 from sweet island skunk they all had slight signs of the septoria I’m experiencing with the bigger plants but after a few weeks in the solo cups I’m thinking they are looking pretty healthy

The three that I left under the microgreens led lights pictured in the green tray seem to be doing better but I did have the light in the tent way to close for a while ( bit of a learning curve going from outdoor to indoor but I’m getting it figured out. As far as the septoria though I’m feeling like all of the new growth is looking super healthy and happy. And the big plants are starting to show there flowers. I’m still having lower leaves yellow and die off but very slowly and the rest of the plants seem happy all new growth looks good and I’m just removing leaves when they get fully yellow and droop so not the end of the world and I’m still expecting to have some great bud to enjoy in the end!

Here’s some shots of how they look now and the flowers to come!

Looks like a ph issue to me. The soil is probably not draining well and the roots at the bottom of the pot might be struggling.

Seems like they will be ok.

Yeah to be honest you are probably onto something at the time I was Ina make work with what u got situation and what I had was whatever I could go collect :joy:. But hey we get it done!
