Watering for run off in soil

I’m running a 50/50 mix of happy frog and HP grow mix in 5G fabric pots. When I feed do I aim for 10-20% runoff and test still? I’m using advance nutrients line sensi grow A&B with cal mag and armor si. I’m worried by doing this I’ll over water and cause problems. Also should i feed nutrients once a week and just PH water in between until its nutrient time?

You can’t overwater, but you can water too frequently.

Manufacturer doses are always way too strong IMO and I almost always go light, you can always increase gradually. Also, manufacturer feed doses are based on a weekly dose. I usually start at like 1/2 strength and split that into 2 doses a week. Underwatering is always preferable to overwatering. I personally don’t water to run off in my soil unless I’m flushing for salts. Soil should be moist/damp but never wet. Best test is to stick finger in to top knuckle when top 2 inches are dry then water.
