I have never seen this before. I cut her down 4 days ago and saw this tonight. Visc like oil. Has any one else seen this before??

Viscous sap. Root system still has a lot of sugars it’s trying to send to the plant.

That is caused by positive root pressure. The plant hasn’t realized it’s dead yet.

You need to ding to it… like a lullaby, something like… little bud-plant common polease regrow… another seed i don’t want to sow, just give me new leaves and i will be nice, otherwise your roots go on ice. la la la
You could probably graft a clone to it if you got to it fast enough.
