Well I guess it’s that time.
Hello Overgrow, this shall be my first post so please bare with me.
I’ve been growing for about a year and a half now. Not much under my belt but I’ve harvested probably 8 plants so far. I’m kind of an all or nothing guy so every time I take cuttings I just take more and more. Should probably figure out how many is too many.
I suppose we’ll start with my veg closet. Save the good shots for last.
Here we have it. I currently have 17 plants of various ages vegging in here as well as 10 clones in a humidity dome not seen here.
Here’s a better shot with the blurple off and my flash turned on. Behind me is the flower room with white lights.
I currently have three strains growing. Platinum GSC, Green Wizard F1, and Doogie Howser F1. The Doogie and wizard were picked up from Colorado when I moved from Cali. The cookies is a bag seed. And a guess if it’s even cookies really. Thinking it may not be but who the hell knows.
I built a tray to set them all on that fits perfectly depth-wise in the closet out of 2x4s, osb, and tarp. Then I threw some caster wheels underneath so I can move it back and forth.
I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, mix with Black Kow composted cow manure, and Perlite.
For lighting in the veg closet we have two galaxyhydro “300 watt” LED’s. Not great but for the price I have absolutely no complaints. Bought off Amazon for $80 each. What a wonderful time to be alive BTW.
Eventually I plan on splitting the bedroom and using half for veg and half for flower but that will have to wait until I have the money. I want to install some type of gravity fed drip system for my pots to help with watering. Between work, pets, the woman, and life, I don’t always get to spend as much time with the ladies as I like.
I also want to build a work bench or table or something to work on various thing.
Back to the closet we now have my clone dome. 10 cuttings of cookies in jiffy pellets. First time using them and they work pretty well. Fuck Walmart I know, but sometimes I have to.
The cookies for whatever reason take about three weeks to root as opposed to 1-2 weeks for the Doogie and Wizard.
Here we have a Doogie clone that was put in here right after showing roots on the 28th.
No real training going on here during veg except for when I have time I might do a minor lollipop, but usually just let them grow uninterrupted. For veg I only use well water and every other feeding I’ll add some alfalfa SST. Been seriously contemplating ferments but the processes that I’ve read here are taking a little time for me to grasp.
Now to the main event. The one crop to rule them. Kidding. It’s nothing compared to what I see here, but I’m trying.
Duh-dadadaaa!!
Here they are. I’ve got two qb 288s on a meanwell 240h something something. Lol. Sourced the parts individually online. Big mistake. Could’ve bought the fucking kit off Amazon for 20 bucks cheaper that comes with all the hardware and better stuff. Whatever. Next time.
On the far left we have one wizard and two Doogie at 37 days from flip. Beck row second from the left is another wizard I flipped maybe 14 days ago. The two bigger ones next to that are the cookies. Lanky bitches, and I’m not sure if that’s my fault or if they need to veg out more. They always grow they like as you can very well see the two even bigger one on the far right. Those are also cookies. Flipped 11 days ago. They just keep getting bigger.
For feeding I’ve been using fox farms big bloom and tiger bloom sparingly but am almost out of both, which is why I want to try ferments. That’s probably also why my yields aren’t too great. I know people can get decent yields with the qbs. I’m not there yet.
Here’s a wider shot of the room. As much as I can fit in the photo.
Build the frame pretty damn good. Only screwed into the wall in two places but the bitch is solid. On it we have a 450 cfm Inline fan and 6x16" carbon filter both from vivosun. The fan is impressively powerful, but a little on the louder side, and it’s turned to low. The filter worked pretty good at first but after about 3 months I feel like it’s capping on me (anybody got recommendations?). Which is bad because it all vents directly downstairs into the “dining” area lol. Should probably exhaust out the window.
Then we have a small fan blowing straight down to cool off the heat sinks. It also moves around the plants a bit. Then of course our wonder quantum boards. These things are fantastic. Only good things to say.
Then there’s the window a/c to help with Temps.
On the side I’ve got a cheap little oscillating fan, and that thing has made the most difference. Such thicker stems and healthier babies.
For waiting so patiently have some bud porn.

One other thing I really want to try is colloidal silver. I just received some in the mail today. 30 ppm. From what I’ve read it should chemically stress a female flower into producing pollen sacs. Since I’m limited to only these three strains I figure this would be my best chance. Especially since the Doogie and Wizard are both F1s(hopefully). I think I should have a decent genetic pool by hybridizing the three together.
Also I miss popping beans. I loved watching my first plants spring out of the soil and grow. Now I’m only dealing with clones. I plan on starting this breeding project tomorrow when I get the time.
Well that’s about all I have. Sorry if there’s too many pictures or if I broke any rules. Super happy to finally have found my niche and hope you guys accept me into your beautiful community. OG
