Not a fan of the time changes myself, especially with losing an hour of sleep. I remember readIng there being like something close to a 24-25% increase in heart attacks around this time. Lack of sleep (especially with insomnia) is hell on the body amd mind. Hopefully it being the weekend will mitigate that. I do appreciate the extra hour spring forward in the evening when I get to enjoy a little extra sunlight. Wish it was like this all year really.

Time change just another method to introduce, governmental control. At 2 o’clock today , my dogs thought the it was 3 and wondered, why they were not in their crates yet. This 5 o’clock, now being 6 o’clock, sucks, in my opinion

Update: plants vegging away to start filling the flower room again. Queen Kong and Mayor McCheese are fattening up on PK GG4 is pushing out a second set of pistils and stacking the full stalks. The cheese is starting to sag from bud weight and spindly stalks, these plants start off smelling like fresh cut Scotch Pine , really starting to turn sour and just brushing a plant releases the stink. I have 3 running for head stash. She is a herme Bitch but is worth a few plants a year clipping nanners as it’s as close to the old stinker skunks from the 80’s I have grown.
Have to go through and sex all I hope. Have to gift friends half my clones and veg’d plants for their outdoor grows and I don’t want to be handing out any males.
They are mostly the mixes I made with @Heritagefarms Platinum Pineapple F4, should be a great outdoor plant with a high ceiling able to finish at 45N, big dense buds of Hawaiian Punch and Juicy Fruit Gum. Only worry here is they will smell like a pineapple farm. Some will be done in apple orchard, others on buddies 10 acres next to the creek. Gonna hook up solar switch and pump for timed supplemental watering.
SPIKE is the DTHF II I have been working into breeding. One of my top two of last season along with Full Moon.

Waiting on a bud run for my regular meds and headstash, had a few buds gift me some Green Crack and Blood Berry to get me through. Was organizing the press station and pulled everything from the freezer. Found this bag of stem stripped popcorn from a 4 year old harvest of GG4. Still at 55 RU cigar like taste with a blackberry back and sour diesel fuel, potency is still there break by finger and the flower still flufs up.

Good thing cause all I had left was Landrace Sativas, as if my insomnia isn’t bad enough. Have Purple ParLyzer and Master Kush going to fill that need.
Yanked around an ounce ful of quarter to dime size nugs and small resin pots…should get me through until Mayor McCheese finishes in a few weeks…

Out of curiosity do your landrace equatorials help you sleep or keep you up? I remember someone on IC telling me they prefer sativa types for sleep. Never have had or grown one myself.

Most of the landrace Sativa are high energy all the way up to anxiety causing. I have a great tasting Menthol Juicy Fruit Gum, Poison Maui which is Maui Wowie x Transkei x Lesotho. Great taste nice Sativa bud denser than most. Only smoke it when I need a big boost. I love Sativa heavy Hybrids but this ones more of a SPEED WEED.
Now GG4 is a Sativa heavy hybrid that makes me clear and relaxed and makes my body tingle with pain relief for hours I’m doing a few bud runs of her now but finding the bag of old nugs is like finding a fine wine (if I drank it). Sitting here enjoying the afterglow and dissecting the dank aromas and dense smoke still in the skylight well after 10 minutes of roaching it. Is more sour grape and 110 octain race fuel.

I’ve always wondered what that felt like as I’ve never fully experienced it. Thai crosses are nice, Northern lights is one classic favorite of mine. I wonder if you take it later into flower and cure it well, if it will change the effect? That is the most important thing that I judge in bud, how it makes me feel. If you want an insomnia buster no joke, grow the Orange Grove out and take it to 30% amber trichomes (around 8 weeks for it.) You can smoke it and it’s good, but it truly outshines the others in edible form for some reason. There are many others that are better in the smoke department, but the OG is a true sledgehammer in the food department. A real pleasure on the back and like sleeping on a cloud. Whatever’s wrong with my brain, it makes things click and allows me to sleep with ease.

Very cool! Afghanis are my personal favorites. I’ll include the kushes with that too. Total getting stoned weed. One’s you can smoke after a bad day or even a good one, and find relief and relaxation. Never was big into the wake and bakes myself, but I would love to find something electifying for the daytime adventures and fishing trips. With good flavor and smell of course.
