Here’s the state of the jungle at the moment as
pulled testers of 8 plants flipped October first. Most are looking close to done with heavy trich production and density with the brand new hortilux+ bulbs.
I have 3 Phenos of Brutal Paw S1, a few Master Kush x SK1, Stink Bud, NHS, with a few lost tag mystery plants.

I’ll try and get a few breeder packs together this week. Have to get the chucking boxes out and see what I have left…think I cleared out 1500 seeds out, but know there’s some Fire left and there .
Brutal Paw S2. I have two batches of the S2 starting harvest end of the month. And 15Th. Then another dozen going in veg for 4 weeks. Very interesting Phenos can’t wait to taste. Tons of thrich’s and that familiar sickly sweet smell and sticky oily

Tested the Stink Bud and the Brutal 9 leaf Sativa.
Stink Bud - dense oily buds sticky with good trich production. Smoke is nice for so early, average buz, with a tarry skunk tone like a burning tire. Should cure out and be a staple in the skunk tray.

Taster of the Brutal paw Sativa 7 leaf:
Mmmm now this is perking my interest more than ever. First impression as I fire the Cherry up is Opium, floral with a hint of banana ripe fruit. Thick smoke doesn’t rise but merely hangs around the head. Three tokes holding the inhale as long as possible and I am rewarded by that old familiar warm rush flooding head then body. Instant muscle relaxer with the high starting behind the eyes the washing over you in a hour long euphoric buz that seems like it gathers strength until it slowly lets you down from a very mescaline like high. No bitterness just a smooth heavy hitter that with dense buds, smoke and high.
I now feel on the right trail and plan on running an open pollination of the two Sativa Phenos for a search for the frostiest of the bunch…

Hate to get rid of this lad butt there’s no MANCAVE in the harsh Michigan winters. Can’t wait to see what his sisters taste like (coming February).
Have 7 plants in the final few weeks, going a little more to the cloudy / amber side with this run under new lights. Half look done and ready to flush.
This is NHS left from the half aborted RKS search. Love the way the buds are forming with only 3 weeks since flipped.

Looking good brother, glad to see you back. Working on finishing up a couple crosses and making seeds myself , and thinking of running this D.T.H.F x Full moon and black willie x brutal paw next. I’ve been wanting too just had to get couple projects done

Both should be killer x’s I just pulled some To drop of the FM x BP, and DTHF 1 x 2 are on my favorite list. I made seeds of a fast (60) day pheno with the male pollen mixed from several brutes.
Don’t know if anyone else has had a chance to run the gear I made yet? feel free to post the good and bad here. I’m starting to wade into the seeds I chucked with some interesting results. Seeing your results will help me narrow down the lines I want to work.

I also have brutal paw f2 and mowie wowie x platinum pineapple. Im thinking I should just run all 4 , seeing some of the pics have peaked my interest, wanted to run sooner but had a couple strains I only had a couple seeds of and they were getting old. Needed to replenish my stock and maybe pass some around depending on outcome, in the process, open pollinated a couple other strains I had going to make some new crosses , Mendo purps wreck s1 and bx1 , mendo wreck x icc#5 ( sundae smash) and Mendo wreck x mystery fem (purple mystery wreck) and preservation of Perma Dream With a potential Cross with icc# 5. For Dream cake… done with seeds for a few after that. Unless I come across a some special phenos from your crosses.

You can send a cut of anything you find that is exceptional as for frost and a mescaline like long buzz, that leaves you relaxed yet uplifted.
I’ve isolated the Brown/black 7 leaf pheno (4) matching plants with a 60 degree thick side branches and bred them back to a big brute of a male that leaned Sativa. The more I explore the more I think that Monkey Paw was a Sativa heavy hybrid with a recessive Indica gene. That would account for the heavy hitting Indica SMACK in the temples rush you would get by third hit, followed by an hour headband that was centered behind the eyes. rather than a Sativa rush the Indica hammer is taken over by a smoothly rising semi psych. High lasting for up to and over an hour.

Search for the Monkey Paw Begins: 200 f2 seeds bred for Sativa lineage and structure (bouquet) 4 similar females with vigor bred to BIG male to pull the Katsu Kush and TH Deep Chunk out of the mix
70/30 Sativa Dominant.

I have about 20 Brutal Paw f2 plants in three phases seperated by 2-3 weeks to continue breeding back to that Sativa branch of its family tree. It’s amazing that one generation of selection with both parents leaning tall Sativa with a 60 degree side angle thick stalks growing like a bouquet. 80% have the structure and vigor, 4-6 runts or sickly will be culled. Have not figured the whole plan on the rest of the selection until I get a taste of the fully cured first f2 run. (About another 3 weeks). So far the testers of the Brown/black Pheno has the over ripe papaya/banana/mango (yellow fruit) terps very subtle mixed with gas and a bit of sweet skunk. The green pheno is more haze and fresh scotch pine early reminding me of the Christmas tree weed that used to hit just before the holidays every year.

After the light fiasco will all the runts and foxtails, I’m happy to see nice dense buds closing up to 3’ down the main stalks with no foxtailing.
