In preparation of Drying and Curing, I ordered this the other day. It came in today.
Pretty slick unit here, @VIVOSUN.
Among its many features, thank you for making the onboard control panel back-lighting switchable.
I think this will work great across the tops and underneath.
However, I did think this thing rotated 360 degrees.

OMG! Assassin bug! Be careful friend.
I was wrong on the Id. It’s a wheelbug.did it hurt? I hear it hurts like crazy to be probed by them.
It wasn’t pleasant by any means! The ‘sting’ did hurt for that moment and for several moments beyond that - while I was wondering if it was venomous. After that I was looking out for any peculiar sensations or pain in case if was a venomous variety.
It is sort of an interesting species. Kills prey larger than itself then just sucks it up like a straw through that weird head it has.
I would like to blame my Bed-Time Pain on it but I can’t. It happened again today.
It has me wondering IF I’m going to be able to get done tonight what should at least get started tonight.
Thanks for stopping, my friend! I do hope you and yours are well and fine, brother!

Yeah man! Assassin bugs are crazy creatures. Beware of the ones with red patches around their back. They carry Chagas, And like to hang out indoors and wait til it’s dark in your house to come out. They definitely are around my place.
I haven’t had enough time for OG lately, but glad to peek in on what you’ve got going on. Keep it up friend, and keep working on that pain.
A wild and wonderful world for us all!
And, yeah, I read about Chagas. Not fun at all, as it reads.
I get it…you’re doing good work! Necessary work. Thank you for it!
Thank you, my friend…gonna give it hell!

Garden II Flush Day 7 - Total Darkness Hour 48
Garden II Harvest - Day 1
Emptying the space - it took me a 1/2 hour just to remove them from the space
I pulled them in numerical order…each are sort of centered in the image. ALL are slumped over towards the nearest heavy piece of shop furniture to support them!
Then, #5 Bubba Kush has competition for Beast Mode but here she is in the space by herself (#2 is vying! Much bigger that I thought). A rough estimate would say she occupied 1/4 of the space!
Back to work. First disassembly of the RDWC system, then I’m going to hang them upside down individually from that temporary light mount and take some better shots of them as I try and do a quick wet trim.
Edit Add: I don’t know when it happened - when I started doing it - but I incorrectly identified the last 2 images above as #5 Bubba Kush. It is not. It is #6 Bubba Kush. Apologies!

That wasn’t as difficult as I expected it to be and didn’t take nearly as long either Having 3/4 inch plugs to put in the Bucket end of the Feed Lines helped a bunch!
Everything is emptied/drained. I ‘think’ I’m going to leave the Reservoir in there until I clean it which is not today.
It’s HANGIN’ TIME! HANG’EM HIGH!!!

Wow!
I wanted to trim them and rehang them in numerical order but that wasn’t possible. I couldn’t get to #1 because #2 was covering it up.
#2 Bubba Kush is BEAST! This beastly octopus wound up pulling my Abrasives bin off the shelf (very left bottom)!
Back at it!

HAHAHAHA!!!
I thought I had posted the below…
"Wow! Wow! Wow! I just got done with that “quick” wet trim - on #2…and it’s not even near done being trimmed. I couldn’t get in to the middle of it and hold that spot open and get both my hands in there to make selective cuts.
Wow!
I’m going to rehang them all back in the space and take them out one-by-one to wet trim then put them back in to dry.
Wow!

I had not
I decided to quick trim #4 Afghan Kush…
NOW, I’m going to hang them all back up in the space and see above!
As soon as I’m done with that, I’m going down!
Good morning!
Make it a great day! that I mean as I’m saying it

Some beast looking plants man
Gonna be a nice haul there friend. Got your work cut out for you.
That’s very kind of you to say.
Thank you!

Hey there, brother!
Thank you.
And, yeah, got my work “cut out for” me, indeed!
I’m about 8/10ths done with the first go through before Drying. I still have the Beast #6 Bubba Kush to finish up.
I have been trimming them from top to bottom (bottom to top on the plant). Lower on the gallows then raising them up on the gallows to the next trimming position.
I have the lower 1/2 (her top) of her - the densest of all the Girls - still to do…
I only stopped to give my @VIVOSUN () clippers a quick Isopropyl Alcohol bath!

That titebond is too close to your buds! Keep that off your trimmers.
Man I have to clean my trimmers constantly. And I have 3 pairs I use and rotate thru. I dig the curved blade ones the most. Helps get right in there.
Still need to make time for lunch. We’ve been so damn busy this year. Thankfully it’s raining today so I can have some om time to change my oil and do personal stuff. We’re converting to a nonprofit by the end of the year. Should of started out that way.
I wondered IF anyone would notice that. I didn’t expect that comment from anyone that would have caught it! I didn’t shape the shot. It’s just there as I’m instituting ‘some’ organization. Long way to go yet!
I have a few pairs. I have an old old-school non-assisted straight trimmer. I got a cheapie straight trimmer that I’m not sure where I got them now. And, I do have a curved bladed @Vivosun trimmer.
The curved trimmers are nice - UNLESS you’re next snip is on the wrong side of the curve!
Yours is important work, my friend - you should be busy!
I do want nothing but the best for you, your wife, and your endeavors!
Okay, your lunch break is over. Get back to work!
Take very good care, brother!,

Garden II Harvest - Day 3
I forgot to show the Environmentals since I sent the Girls to Total Darkness…I have been recording it.
Here’s where things were about a 1/2 hour ago. Note that the AC Infinity T6 Inline Exhaust Fan is Off. I tried it a couple/few different ways to get the numbers where they should be and this is the closest I can get them.
AC #3 75RH Test 07292022
1% Low Deviation
AC #3 32RH Test 07292022
6% High Deviation
I’m going to retest all 3 AC Infinity probes again as soon as I can, not sure when that will be but I’m going to try twice more before 10292022.
The good news?
The “More on that later” comment most previously?
Except for the few mistakes I made - Hot Res., Hot Nutes and Hot Bulb … HOT, HOT, HOT!!! … I haven’t had any additional problems. No pests, for instance. I did see a small amount of flying insects in the Classroom over the past few months BUT I am pretty sure they just snuck in through to very small gaps in the “seal” on the 2 Window A/C units I ran. I haven’t seen any in the Bloom Room! I have kept the windows closed for this entire time. I didn’t want to put out invitations. And the room is sealed up pretty well. Not perfect well but pretty well.
I didn’t want to say anything before Harvest. I didn’t want to jinx my efforts! Go around boasting NO BUGS, NO BUGS, NO BUGS…
Oops…BUGS!
Here’s #6 after the first pass through trim…
I just took these images…in order starting at #2 going clockwise…
In the first image above and the one directly above, this is missing…
I broke it off somewhere along the line
That broken top?..
Yes, it’s wet. Yes, sucker leaves still attached. Yes, stems included.
But…
The bad?
A few buds are cooked. Crisp even. Damaged by any one or all of the problems I caused.
A quick and then I’m going to get started picking up my Thrash Session
I do hope you’re all making it a great night!

Garden II Harvest - Day 6
Consider, IF I were trying to hide anything I would not be posting this…full transparency.
A couple of thoughts, a couple of impressions and a query.
One thought is that I probably should have trimmed that wispy growth, the undergrowth, the backside away from the light, back earlier.
I’m just of the mind that IF they want to try and grow then I’m willing to let them try.
And, IF I am going to allow it in the future - I have to provide them with a better environment for that to happen. I’m considering side-lighting. Putting up some LED work lights on the wall bellow the canopy might help them succeed…IF it’s not the issue below that in part caused it.
The only problem with that is the 4th wall is the wall with the hinged door on it. There isn’t an obvious way to get LED’s on that side of the plants.
One impression is that that short time in the Hot Zone did damage the Girls.
You saw the Runt’s Roots. They were Tan (Beige) but no obvious signs of algae.
I just saw this last night…the bottom of the root ball on 2 of the Girls’ Roots. It’s not on the other 3, not that I can see.
That does explain some of the issues I’ve been seeing and have expressed here, the leaves continuing to yellow and brown on the edges I trimmed back, for example.
This does prove that even a short period of high heat - even less than 36 or so hours (I’m not really sure how long it was but it was corrected very quickly with the Chiller) - in the Res can cause problems.
My query: Is the Fruit of a plant with root damage (algae) harmful to ingest?
I’ve looked before asking the question and all I find is regarding Bud Rot. Something I haven’t seen in these Girls. I have not seen any buds with rot on these Girls. Not even a little.
I do hope you’re all making it a great night!
