When I went to pull the 1962 GMC Camper Special out of the field 1 or more tire was low on air.
I went and fetched up my JEGS 5 gallon portable air tank.
This would be the second time I’ve used it.
It was filling the tire fine BUT when I pulled the air chuck off the Shrader valve air continued to escape freely. I turned the air tanks on/off valve to off. I fiddled with the pin in the air chuck that interacts with the Shrader valve and opened the air tank on again and nothing changed. Air continued to escape.
I messaged JEGS (on Amazon) soon after I got back to the Schoolhouse last night.
I’ll bet it was less than 1 hour (on a Sunday) and JEGS messaged me back.
I explained the situation and showed them my JEGS portable air tank in its current condition (nearly mint…just some dust from covered storage out in the Firewood Bin.
I only asked for a replacement hose with included air chuck.
Right at about 1 hour ago, JEGS contacted me advising me the replacement hose (I presume with air chuck included) is being sent.
All said and done well under 24 hours, including some of that 24 hours being on a Sunday.

My nephew brought me an old tv hanging out in his closet.
It’s an old LG. He doesn’t know any of the information on it except that it doesn’t have its base or its remote control.
I don’t need any of that. What I do need are model numbers/part numbers. I can’t find any of that anywhere on the exterior of the case.
I’m going to try and pop the case to see if I can find any of that on the interior, what I can access of it.
No Schower last night. I had barely enough in me to strip down, scrub my hands and face and fall into bed.
Luckily, I was fully clothed and fully covered while working on the grease machine and crawling on the floor. My clothes got the worst of it! ![]()
Also regards, Schower…I forgot I hadn’t mounted the Schower Head yet. I still have to lay the shower head on the floor of the tub facing down or turn the valve on and off each time using its claw-foot tub fixture assembly outside the curtain whenever I need it.
Standing up MORE is certainly a benefit.
I’ll test drive this Schower WHAB Model #1 and incorporate changes to it as I use it and use those changes in the ‘real’ making of a Schower WHAB Model #2 assembly and subsequent. ![]()
I hope you’re all making your week great! ![]()
