If you haven’t tried it yet, check out the nasal mask. It is a smaller mask and the positive air flow goes into the nasal passage. This is the one I use and like. As far as the pain clinic visit, per previous personal experience, don’t consume alcohol either at least 3 days prior to your visit, it will get picked up on the urine screen.
Looks like things are progressing well for you bud, very cool.
Hello friend!
I tried that nasal mask when I was in the Sleep Clinic the first time, the sleepover.
It did not go well. I couldn’t take the air whistling in my nose and out my throat. IF I had had my tonsils still they would have beat the roof of my mouth to tears with the whistling wind!
These newest masks they gave me to try is a sort of combination Nasal and Mouth mask.
And, funny you should mention it, I’ve spent the last few days in 5 masks. First the new Small mask, then the new Large mask and last night I tried the new Medium mask…just to honestly say, IF asked, that I really did try them all.
I wanted them to work. They just don’t.
Except for the first day, I’ve wound up in my old full-face (chin to bridge of nose) mask each day…including last night.
Besides the fit of the new maskS, those new masks are really noisy. Even IF they had fit better, the noise they produce would have nullified their use. The machine is really quiet, those new masks certainly are not.
Thank you for the heads-up on the Pain Clinic, brother! I don’t typically drink alcohol. Nothing against its use, I just don’t indulge much any longer.
Thank you! ,

Thank you, @DougDawson!
Slow going but going all the same.
Thanks for peeking in and speaking up!
I appreciate that!

I couldn’t do the face mask as it was too constrictive. When I did my sleep study, I was having 70 episodes an hour! Now it is less than 10. Made a huge difference in my sleep and how I felt the following day. Good luck with your pain clinic meeting.
Wow! That’s A LOT on Apnea! I’m not sure what mine are but I know they’re not that many!
Most times my AHI is less than 1.
When I review my data collection app I often wonder why they even put me on a CPAP machine, but I haven’t missed a single day without using it since I got it a couple/few years ago.
Thank you, @Tejas!
All the very best to you, as well! ,

Not sure what I was thinking when I placed my last order BUT, I’m going to need 3/4 inch hose to lay out the 5 gallon system even if it is not put into use now - it will be ready when the Girls get there.
I just bought…
However, it doesn’t look like it’s going to get here any sooner than the 12th …unless Amazon pulls some magic, that is!
I wanted both systems up and able to run when needed before I even fired up the first system, the 2 gallon buckets.
We’ll see…
Also, I’m not sure why but my neck is throwing a fit AGAIN. Moving it hurts even worse than the last time . It was just hurting when I turned my head to the right, now it’s hurting in both directions
Still gonna make it a great day! ,

How much longer until you are ready?
I’m out of Arrow 508 staples…
I only need to reinforce a few areas with that stapler.
I am moving on to the Vivosun Zipper Door. The wall is prepared. I was able to use the cut-off from the South wall as the panel to apply the zipper door to. There are 3 staple holes through it where I temporarily tacked it in place on the ceiling. I’m ‘hoping’ I can position the zipper to cover them…IF I can’t, I’ll put something over them. I should have planned that better Looking back, I could have temporarily taped it in place.
I’m going to Neva-Clog staple the zipper door in place BEFORE it has a come-apart as it did on the last one!
With the zipper door soon done and with the Panda Film wrapped around the door frame…
…I ‘think’ I’ll move on to the doorway. I ‘think’ I’ll try and get the jamb and door in place. I still haven’t looked for the hinge pins. I should probably do that!
Make it a great night!

Hey brother!
To get Cloning Machine II up and running, it will only take setting it up. I’m tentatively putting it up where I flowered the last go round…up in the loft.
That should only take a couple/few of hours.
As for getting the 2 gallon Veg buckets up and running, I’m not sure how much 1/2 hose I have on hand. I’ll go look as soon as I send this.
Once I know I have everything on hand, I can get that done in a couple/few hours.
Beyond that, I don’t think I have more than a day of actual work to get the under-loft space completely done. Knowing my underestimating my time, make that 2 days
The only thing I can see that might really hang me up is the 6 inch exhaust ventilation. I’m not sure how I’m going to run it.
I ‘think’ I’m going to have to exit the under-loft space near the ceiling, up the exterior of that wall and up through the attic (probably using the first 6 inch hole I cut up there before I put the tall wall up).
I won’t know how that is going to go until I try to get it done.
OH, and my neck ‘may’ hold me up a bit…it’s killing me!
Good to see ya around, my friend!

No hurry, things will be waiting for you……
Thank you, my friend! You !
I went out and looked and I don’t have any new 1/2 inch tubing on hand. BRRR!
The 1/2 inch tubing I have on order will be here Tuesday Feb. 8th.
I’m going to have a tea, then I’m going to go set up the loft. Still have a little bit of clean up to do up there - vacuuming, picking-up etc. Then I have to get Cloning Machine II up there (it’s a BEAST!) - hopefully setting it on something, off the floor! I don’t know what yet!
I’ll get back on the under-loft door when I’m done up there.
Staying warm over there, brother? I saw the band of weather going over your area the other day. That was a wide and far reaching storm!

Vivosun Zipper Door done! Adhered, Neva-Clog reinforced stapled, and Panda Film sliced open along the zipper.
I had to tape over one of the staple holes.
While I was out in the nearly 100 year old shed, I did look for the antique hinge pins in that bin I mentioned. No hinge pins. They could very well be laying on the floor out there. I will look for them when I can. I’m also going to scour the Classroom for them. There’s only a couple places in here where they could possibly be.
Now tea! ,

Well, this is interesting.
When I put my order in for the 3/4 inch tubing it gave me the Feb 12 to Feb 21 shown above.
When I was in the process of placing the order there was a note, something about possibly changing delivery dates IF I choose to reduce boxes…something like that.
I was 1/2 way thinking it would delay the earlier date on the 3/4 inch hose clamps.
It didn’t delay my other items, it did speed up the delivery of the 3/4 inch tubing!!!
I just got this email…

I forgot I wanted to test the nozzles before I lugged it up to the loft.
I can’t do that until tomorrow…
I went to go heft it up there and realized I left out a step that needs to get done…

lol, I always use the saying “Anything worth doing will take twice as long as you think”. Definitely a rule to live by…
I love this saying! It’s so true! My wife gets so aggravated when I’m like, “I’m trying to do it right, not fast”. Lol
Wish I were closer to come help lug that steel cloner up there with you. Still gotta get lunch sometime!
I am familiar with that rule - I use it - and I always tend to violate it regardless!
For instance, I expected to be done with testing the Cloning Machine II by now.
My neck is feeling much better … much, much better (I fought through the pain yesterday) BUT, another of my bodily systems is throwing a fit at the moment. I haven’t been able to get anything done.
I’m going to have a tea and try and get something done - hopefully testing the nozzles (before the ice cold returns) and get the machine up in the loft and get its lights hung.
We’ll see . I hope
You @JoeCrowe!,
