While I enjoy Tommy Bolin’s guitar playing skills very much, I am not too keen on his singing.
I greatly prefer his instrumental work.
But, of course, it boils down to personal preference and taste.
It’s really tragic that he died so young in 1976, he was a precocious prodigy.

I love that Mouzon album, and Billy Cobhams Spectrum even better. Jeff Beck said it he listened to it all weekend and then decided to do the Blow by Blow lp.
I actually like Bolins vocals, especially on his softer songs…but like you said, we all have our own taste.
Definitely a waste that he died so young. Love his guitar playing.
