I can just imagine, not being a phan, with fungi, just how fucked up that moment must have been. āIs this fungi THAT good, am I REALLY seeing that? WTF just happened?!?!ā
Kuroda just keeps upping his game⦠I gotta wonder, does he āpracticeā via software to create retrievable scenes? Do they have a huge building for his light rig that he gets to play in? Next time I manage to score floor seats I am gonna ask him, heās easily accessible on the floor, yet most have no clue who he is
And heās been with them essentially since the beginning. So if anybody has a feel for how long this jam will go, when they will drop a change in, drop back into a tune, etc, heās right there as if it was planned. And he does have certain things he likes for certain passages. One I call the candy cane lights, white and red spinning lights, always happens during the ādarkā portion of Mikeās Song⦠When the break into the dark portion of the tune, arena glows red and those lights come on.
Possum you have the obvious white runway lights for the crowdā¦
I donāt see Phish as often as I used to so anymore I usually go to have fun with friends, but back in the day I would record the show from the tapers section. That is usually located next to the soundboard area, so Iāve had the opportunity to watch Kuroda work his magic from a few feet away. He really is the 5th member of the band. Watching him dance around while hitting all the light cues, and improvising along with the music is a joy!
I liked the Peter Green Fleetwood Mac very much. Green wrote Black Magic Woman,
not Santana. After Green left the band, Bob Welch and Danny Kirwan took over guitar duties.
This is the last album Fleetwood did that I enjoyed⦠from 1972.
