This is an amazing recording released by an awesome non-profit, the Owsley Stanley Foundation. If you are unfamiliar with him, Stan Owsley was a maker of LSD early on, as well as the Grateful Dead’s soundman. In both these activities, Owsley was legendary.

This recording was made at The Boarding House (in San Francisco), October 1, 1973. I think it isn’t simply rousing, it’s amazing!
