Red Rocks was on my bucket list until two months ago. It lived up to the hype! It is arguably the greatest live music venue on the planet.
I saw Gov’t Mule - a band that spun out of the Allman Brothers - on their “Dark Side of the Mule” tour. They play a few of their own songs, then bring out a bunch of musicians to perform Pink Floyd material (in honor of DSOTM’s 50th anniversary this year).
I looked on YouTube today and someone recently uploaded the complete performance (multi-cam, pro-shot, with soundboard audio)!!! The Floyd stuff starts around the 50 minute mark…

Never knew much of Joe Walsh’s music but he tells a good story in this. Like it. Notice the George Harrison, Beatle riffs? Who’d a thunk it?
