We lost Kurt Cobain 25 years ago today - always felt a connection with him and the guys from Seattle - they’re all just about my age…really identified with their music as a young man. Also after 10 years of 1980’s music (Phil Collins anyone?) we had just about given up on rock music by the early 90’s…

Side Note I went to this concert in Hampton, Va. in 1984, backstage. Someone, in a latex suite with long hair went walking by, like on the cover image (promotional costume person), scared the ‘holy crap’ out of me (of course, I was only about 14 and it was dark and kind of spooky in that old arena). Made me not want to go to a concert for a long time.
