I don’t know how many Jimi fans there are on this site… but in this clip Martin Scorsese hands Mr Hendrix the first 12 string guitar Jimi has ever held. Hard to believe, I know. Jimi proceeds to compose this song, mostly off the top of his head. Never gets old.

a 12 string plays the same as a 6 string, the 2 strings in each pair are same note, different octave. still amazing though!
