Just ordered a pack of Empyrean Seeds
The Light-Redisun bc1, but wont have them until next week.

Its a cross of the Original Seattle NL5 clone, and Destroyer. Says its the best plant hes ever found/grown, and makes the best full melt hash ever.

Description: We took the best males from the Light f4 generation and back crossed them to our tried and true favorite cuttings from previous generations to add more funk as there was still a bit of sweetness in the f4 generation. The two mothers used were: the Light f1 #8, a major back bone in this line, she stinks of slightly sweet ammonia and onions with accents of black pepper and anise, and the Light f2 #5 which is the progeny of #8 with a serious addition of nasty funk and some serious resin that coats the flowers. These have a moderate stretch during the beginning of flowering and great branching structure. Tons of resin. This next generation is very promising.

I believe a portion of these auctions do go to him. He posted his new grow building on IG and credited the DCSE auctions for making it possible.

The fact is that for some of us we buy seeds cause we wanna grow weed.
But then commodity fetishism comes into play combined with having the potential of great weed in those seeds. (Even if it would take 1000 lifetimes to actually grow all those seeds)
And so people start collecting seeds they are never ealistically going to grow.
Then you have exclusivity and scarcity of certain seeds in drops which enhances the collectibility and perceived value.
These things combined turn seeds into an asset that people invest in and trade and thats how you end up with 16k seeds.
