You bet I have. Iāve gotten great breeder freebies, then the GLG freebies on top of that. Really makes the per bean price drop. Havenāt bought from GLG in 9 months. They were the only bank I used for 2 years. Got a bag of the freebies Jeff makes, I gave them away before I knew better. Not to be ignored.

My wife gives me grief all the time to but since i got my own seed fridge/freezer she only gets to see my collection one container at a time LOL I keep it locked so I know she canāt peek in there
I too ponder my seed collection and it gets tough making decisions on what to keep in the fridge and what to put up in the freezer for long term. Part of my personal seed collecting mission is to leave a large seed will to my youngest son and nephew so years from now (hopefully) I can leave them a collection of genetics that will be a treasure trove in 20 or 30 years.

I bought a couple of packs from JBC Seeds recentlyā¦ Bodhiās Phone Home and Raspberry Hashplantā¦ specifically so I could secure a pack of āPine Appleā after BreederDirect emailed me and said they didnāt have a pack for my orderā¦ so I ordered from JBC to get oneā¦ and then I ended up securing a second pack from GreatlakesGenetics tooā¦ so it all worked out.
Bodhi has had some interesting freebiesā¦ his Purple Lush, Purple Pineapple, Silver Sunshine, More Cowbell Remix, Purple Mana and his Outdoor Skunk Revival packs were all freebies.
A few months ago I placed an order with OregonEliteSeeds tooā¦ specifically for advertised freebiesā¦ and they mailed me an open envelope, no tape. my freebie pack missingā¦ charged me twice for shipping and refused to refund the differenceā¦ I was talking about it months ago in this threadā¦ I emailed and spoke to the Seedbank owner who did NOTHING for meā¦ he started whining about his costā¦ Idk why his cost is any of my businessā¦ then he lied through his teeth and was just a general overall jack assā¦ I tell everyone any chance I getā¦ stay away from OregonEliteSeedsā¦ I will never, ever order from there again. OregonEliteSeeds is an awful place to do business with.

Thanks for mentioning them. I hadnāt checked Pagoda out before. Although I also blame you for sending me down this current rabbit hole. Iāve spent the last hour reading about all the different male/female plants they use for breeding to figure out what Iād want to order. lol (j/k)

I know what you mean EXACTLY. I have not used them, the post above brought Pagoda seeds to my attention. I have been for 1 week trying to decide what to get. Kush male? Which one? Colombian haze? Xmas pure kush? 20$ a pack. Puck ibl. Lebanon landrace and hashplant both. I think Iām gonna spend big there.

Each cultivar gets a label, few silica dessicant beads, small cotton wad, layer of seeds, another bit of cotton and sealed up. I have a spreadsheet tracking everything so I know which vial to pluck for any given seed.
The trays go into a beverage mini fridge with extra mylar bubble insulation and some heat-sealed bags of water for thermal stability.
Sounds complicated but itās easy and I like the individual containers that are easily accessed individually. If I want something the fridge door only has to be open maybe 15 seconds to get the specific vial out.
