Nah if it ain’t got air it’s got to go lol it’s already in the mid 90s here and only going to get worse. Half the time the AC in the cranes either don’t work or barely work so after spending 10,12,14+ hrs in a glass box I’m over being hot to say the least.

Kids, just so you know that’s not the traditional repair. Like putting a light bulb in the fridge dairy compartment to fix the clothes dryer so this one’s best left to the experts.

Operators at my work are unionized. They would not work like that. A lot of tears would flow. To be fair you shouldn’t be working in that sort of heat for any real time.

I was union as well. The pushers didn’t care they just wanted steel in the air. I took a pic of my thermometer and sent it to safety. He showed up to my rig 20 min later with an umbrella, a lawn chair and a cooler full of Gatorade. Told me I couldn’t spend more than 10 min in the cab every hour. The super drove by with me in the lawn chair with my feet up he flipped out told him to call safety. My crane was fixed the next day. It broke again and the guys working under my hook took up a collection and went and bought a window unit and am inverter to run it that day. This was a hell of a project lol

Oh that’s rad I got a buddy in Blanca CO and I went to a hippie festival near Spanish Peaks a few years ago. Beautiful place to live, a bit envious.
