Mrs. mota snuck over to a local pastry shop and brought these back for breakfast. The plain (they call it a butter) crescent, is for her. The rest (top) are Bostock (brioche soaked in orange syrup & topped with almond cream, slivered almonds & powdered sugar), lava cake, (bottom) plain and chocolate filled crescents. Sugar high, you better look out cuz here I come!
For you Bay Area denizens, itâs Patisserie Rotha on San Pablo Blvd. in Berkeley. It is a tiny place, easy to miss. Mrs. mota didnât get there until around 9, so about 1/2 of the items were sold out. This was really spur of the moment. We normally try to get there no later than 7. It can and usually does mean a long line, sometimes more than 20 people, but worth it for us.
So fucking amazing!
