Fresh baked bread
Thanks @DJSF, I appreciate it!
Lol it might be croutons by the time it gets to you!

love bananas foster…or in pancakes!!
If you rub a lobster on its head it gets sleepy. Then you tilt him like this and he stays asleep till you move him.
Passion fruit
Tomato and cucumber consumee with the usual suspects
This is actually because the blood is leaving the rest of the lobster’s body. so they will remain still to stave off death.
Not sure if it’s because their limbs go numb or a self-preservation instinct. Either way I learned something about lobsters today!
Last night’s meal was salad and spicey bean burger.
@DesertHeartGardens I dried the kidney and black eyed beans out a bit too much, so re hydrated with some evoo and an egg and cream to get it to stick together better.
I used walnuts instead of cashews and only half of the panko recommended and for the other half substituted nutritional yeast.
I used old wesh cheddar and parmesan cheese instead of fetta and put 1 big chilli and 2 scotch bonnets in it

Managed to get 6 big ones twice the size of the one on the plate, plus that one, made from 2 tins of beans. I will be making these again
Since when is a barley sandwich not food??

Cheers

That is the kinda attitude I can dig
Smash burgers I made, chicken wings and 2 doughnuts from some new place I hadn’t tried.
The bun recipe I switched the sugar for some marsh honey at half the weight, switched the shortening for duck fat and switched the nonfat milk powder for full fat. They had caramelized onions, kosher pickle slices, 2 patties, thick marble cheddar cheese, home made Kansas city bbq sauce and extra thick cherry smoked bacon that I made.
Chicken wings fried in duck fat, straight up franks sauce and put in the oven after to slightly concentrate it.
These doughnuts were called “140 layer”. Not the same texture that I’m used to when I make them but they were delicious. One was called the mad max and the other the new yorker. here’s a description copy and paste from the website:
Mad max
A smooth peanut butter glaze topped with peanuts and a raspberry drizzle. To perfect the donut we filled it with raspberry jelly… exactly what our 8 year old would live off of
New yorker
New York City- known for it’s cheesecake. Our strawberry cheesecake donut will make you think your in the big apple. Filled with strawberries, dipped in a cream cheeze icing, topped with a graham cracker pie crust and a little splash of home made whip on top.
Gonna have some more burgers later today

Omigawd…please…stop…I want a ‘‘smashburger’’ SOOO bad now!
Onion rings are terribly under appreciated…
Cheers
