Mom came over and made burgers. Now we’re going to the ice cream place to get a couple sundaes 
Man! Y’all r makin me hungry. Spent Fathers Day with my boys and their families yesterday, and 2day, half of us r sick with a stomach bug. Ugh. Havent been able 2 keep anything down all day. My oldest grand daughter had been sick but they thought she was over it. Guess not. Ugh!
Like chicken/fish and its about $20 a pound…its all about how you cook it…I have some marinating in the fridge right now for grilling tomorrow…
Hash brown potatoes, with bell pepper, onion, and egg along with couple slices of avocado toast to break fast around 12:30 pm.
Supper last night…seasoned chicken thighs, marinated alligator nuggets, mashed potatoes and brussle sprouts foil veggie pack, the drink is a Salty Dog…
It’s too hot to cook so a mixed plate of what was around:
English muffin with cheese wiz, english muffin with pate, rye bread with dill pickle hummus, rye with herb cream cheese, chips with artichoke asiago dip, and oaties with nutella sammies.
I know man…it is bloody hot & humid here…
Feel like I’m melting!
Was going to make macaroni salad- but can’t bring myself to boil water and add to the humidity!
Gonna use the instant pot later–may put it on the deck so as not to add steam to the kitchen!
This weather (and lack of A/C) is why most of the old farm houses had two kitchens…
By the time I was a kid my grandfather’s ‘summer kitchen’ was only used for boiling down maple syrup…
