Didn’t take a pic, but had gas station chicken 2nite. Live n the STL area. Our local free food critic gurus put out their annual thingie last week. They rsnk all kinds of stuff. #3 for Fried Chicken was Krispy Krunchy Chicken. Guess its a thing n the south. Started n New Orleans I believe. New around here. There’s 2 around STL and 4 n Missouri. They r n gas stations and convenience stores. Not sure how it works. No franchises. I googled it. Anyhow. Theres 1 close 2 me. Its F’n good. Got these awesome honey biscuits. Kinda like Popeye’s but much crispier. Great tater wedges. Red beans and rice, jambalaya, mac & cheese. I digress.

I made simliar day before yesterday, just chinese style with water chestnuts, carrots, squash. Used the rest of the chicken for some pulled chicken sandwiches.
