I’ve used all sorts of disc-style grinders through the years… Get an antique Androck nut grinder, you’ll never go back.

thanks for reviving this thread. i have a new grinder in the mail on its way to me but i’ll update on that when it arrives. currently i have a 4 piece golden gates grinder off of amazon for $20. i haven’t used it due to having to stop smoking for the time being, but the new one in the mail will be used for grinding up joint weed, i always preferred the scissor chop over a grind when it comes to bowls, but it goes well with a fine joint.

I use the fores off my still.
That stuff leaves all my equipment squeaky clean. Doesn’t bother the polycarb. spacers either.

If I do use a grinder now it’s my 12 year old Cosmic. I have a (possibly counterfeit) Santa Cruz Shredder and it just grinds too fine for blunts, and has a ridiculous large mesh for “kif”

Now days I just use my trim scissors over the bottom half of my Cosmic. I like the coarser chunks, burn better and taste better IMO.

The SCS was last used to grind male flowers on a reversed clone for pollen collection. Did great lol.
