What hardiness zone are you in?

Interested to know the strains that cold area farmers were able to harvest for photo periods; I know autos are an option but I want to hear the photo success or failure. I am in zone 3 with late frost in spring and early in fall. My few attempts outdoors have been abysmal.

That’s rough, how about Ultra Early Love?
That’s supposed to be very fast.

I’m right on the edge of 3 and 4 and yeah, outdoor is a bitch. Always have to pull early. Was going to try autos this year, but said fuck it and went inside. Might run autos inside after the first round is done. I’m in an unheated garage now and do light cycle at night. So far so good.

I’m in zone 5-6.

I’ve had success with short flowering strains. I grew an NL that was ready in 49 days.

Early frost is always a possibility for me and I’ve been in the position where I had to chop whether they were ready or not.

Best of luck.

the zone thing isnt entirely accurate in my Xp, where I lived in Michigan and now Nd, same zone but nothing alike, winters here much more severe dryer and can be hotter in the summer

2b/3a here in northern Alberta. Just sprouted some autos to go outside in a few days so fingers crossed. The one plant that was kept out there last year was supposed to be an auto fem but grew as a regular fem so had to keep her going through 3 light snows and temps down to -15C and couldn’t crop until mid Oct.

Fingers crossed for better results this year!

Happy harvests for all!

Three days ago I got 49.5C(121.1f) in the sun where my outdoor plants are, 30C(86f)in the shade.
But we still get minus 30C(-22f)or worse in the winter

I don’t know how people grow in Las Vegas or those climates. Shade cloth I guess?

I’m in AZ and we have just been creeping towards 110F so far, this year. I don’t have anywhere outdoors, that I could plant in, so I have to be indoors either way.
