This guy is supplied with cannabis from the government. He takes it for severe pain due to bone tumors. It is grown at the University of Mississippi. Does anyone know what type of cannabis it is? I can’t find any information on the actual lineage. I have seen rumors that it is the real g13… but it doesn’t look anything like g13…

I have read accounts from people who were part of this federal program. Overall it seems absolutely terrible quality.

Authors reported that samples available via the U-Miss program shared genetics typically associated with industrial hemp, not commercially available cannabis. They concluded: “NIDA research grade marijuana was found to genetically group with hemp samples along with a small subset of commercial drug-type cannabis. A majority of commercially available drug-type cannabis was genetically very distinct from NIDA samples. These results suggest that subjects consuming NIDA research grade marijuana may experience different effects than average consumers.”

Yeah I concur def looks like it to me but without smell-o-vision kind of hard to tell.
The chemotype of the sk1 (whatever the bullshit sold, but first iterations) is one of the richest we knew in hybrids.
So the scents and the smoke of the flowers, beside the apparent stability of the genotype, was always a firework. The spectrum is as wide than from ultra musky (vintage dominance) to ultra fruity (early 2000’s dominance) to just cheese and others crazy shits lol
And it was the game, mining the skunk to output new flavors. Then the NLs took fast the edge on terps etc …

hell yeah. i grabbed the sssc skunk1 pack in a recent glg auction to expand and hunt to see what they come out with. can’t wait until i can start.
