In order to feed plants with Earth Juice, it must be mixed and recirculated for at least 24 hours before feeding. The reservoir ought to be light proof and have a lid, though the lid does not need to be air tight. A black 5 gallon bucket and lid will work perfectly and will easily feed 10 plants in 2 gallon pots.
~shabang~ recommends using a relatively high volume aguarium water pump, like the Rio 2100, to keep the mix recirculating. Your author humbly suggests that a bubble curtain and high output air pump will do the trick.
For vegging plants, use the following mix per gallon of water:
1-2 tablespoons of EJ Grow
1 tablespoon Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed
1 tablespoon EJ Catalyst
1 teaspoon of EJ Bloom every other feeding
(Note: Earth Juice Grow is not rocket fuel. It really helps to add a 1/2 cup of high N guano to your soil when planting. If you do this, only use 1 tablespoon of EJ grow per gallon.)
For flowering plants, use the following mix for the first 3 weeks of 12/12 per gallon of water:
1 teaspoon of EJ Grow
1 tablespoon of Maxicrop
1 tablespoon of EJ Catalyst
1 tablespoon of EJ Bloom every other feeding until week three, then every feeding
For flowering plants, use the following mix after the first three weeks of flowering, per gallon of water:
1 tablespoon of EJ Bloom
1 tablespoon of Maxicrop
1 tablespoon of EJ Catalyst
1/2 tablespoon of EJ Grow every other feeding (more if your bottom leaves start yellowing too early)
