Too be honest I loved doing it. Standing up there forcing it down the chimney was excellent exercise and as I was high up the air I was breathing was a lot cleaner. I’ve had it once or twice though when fitting a liner the next door neighbor had their stove running and I was breathing whatever they were burning and the heat was uncomfortable to say the least. The bricks also get quite hot with the radiant heat at the top of the chimneys
